*Official* VB Series - Australia, India & Zimbabwe

I think the Australians can win the series, but I think it's going to be a tight three way battle. The Indians will carry on from their test form, and the Zimbabweans can spring the odd surprise or two, but they have to be good with BOTH the bat and ball, and just not be good with one and...

    What ever happened to?

Whatever happened to Shane George? He was apparently the next big thing in our bowling ranks back in the mid-90's. Played a few A games, and then seemed to disappear...

Who should replace Steve Waugh ??

I'd personally go for Clarke, but I think they'll probably give Lehmann the nod if he can pile on the runs when he returns for the Redbacks.

    Standout Performance of 2003?

And 30-odd not out with the bat, in a rescue mission with Bevan, to get us across the line in the end.

I had Sehwag as my top run scorer. Thought I was on to something for a while...

    What's happened to Chris Martin?

Yeah, because Twose wasn't actually a Kiwi by birth, he was from England and gained selection through residency, or something like that, right?

    *Official* India in Australia Thread

We had nothing today. I think that we are now finally starting to really feel the pinch with pretty much our frontline attack absent. It's also about making your own chances, and whilst we got plenty, we either fumbled it or the third umpire gave the benefit of the doubt to the batsman. But I'm...

    5/42 or 42/5...who would u choose

Steve Waugh. He just has that streetfighter instinct, and getting his wicket is like prizing a pork chop off a ravenous dog. But seeing that he will no longer be an option in about two weeks from now, I would probably go for Dravid.

    comical error in cricinfo

We have the Duracell Bunny, and for Energizer, this hyperactive thing in the shape of a battery who always says "Never Say Die". Always raises a smile when I see the ad.

    Topped:*Official*2004-2005 Domestic Competitions.

Any state squad announcemnets, player movements and new coaching appointments for the following season here in Australia usually don't start before July, so yeah, I think it is just a tad too early!

    Worst Commentators

Probably Dennis Cometti. For mine, I just don't think his style suits the cricket... stick to the footy ol' son! :P
