    Why? Kallis averages 55 in test cricket, over 40 in one day cricket and 30 in T20 cricket. Obviously, players like Barry Richards and Graeme Pollock should be considered but their international careers were curtailed due to apartheid. But Kallis has all the tools of a great batsman. Patience...

    Interesting day one of franchise cricket. Stiaan van Zyl continued to shine for the Cobras, just missing out on his third hundred of the Sunfoil Series. Definitely must be discussed a possible replacement for the waning Jacques Kallis in the future. Obviously he's not an authentic all-rounder...
