    **Official** England in New Zealand 28 Nov-18 Dec 2024 - 3 Tests

Refreshing for the 3rd umpire not to bottle it in favour of the batsman with 'benefit of doubt'.

    **Official** England in New Zealand 28 Nov-18 Dec 2024 - 3 Tests

We have given some really average batsman really easy runs with these tactics. I just refuse to believe the stats back this up so why do they keep doing it?

I don't think it's a conscious decision. I heard on a podcast that he'd said he was struggling for rhythm despite the wickets. This strategy is ****ing absurd just bowl normally ffs.

Our tactics to 'established batsman'/ tailender partnerships have been easily the most frustrating thing about the Stokes era. What are we doing here?

    Graham Thorpe dies aged 55

Genuinely been sad all day since hearing this news. Thinking back it feels like I spent entire summer holidays sat on the floor in front of the tv watching him bat. I must've been one of thousands of kids to bat with a kookaburra just because of him. Tried and failed to bat like him too. RIP...

*Official* England in India 2023/24 #CryMoreTour

I think it's just an excuse to pile in on England, which I get (I'd be doing the same if roles reversed). I can't believe anyone would objectively think we're not a better team now. The Boycott type who can't get their head around the fact most people don't want to watch them bat the whole day...

Yes let's go with that. I'm looking forward to this all being over now. Sick of waking up to a promising score before these ***** ruin my morning

We all know he'll play and he'll keep. Will probably score a shed load of runs too.

Strange series this. For some reason it's felt better than the last one, but really it's been a drubbing.

I think that was one of the more predictable passages of cricket I've ever seen.

India have been very good today but if you're being honest we've blown the test from a position of dominance.

The key will be how they navigate that period where the ball seems to jump or stay low or spin seemingly every ball. Each innings has had that period at some stage.

Not a bad thing to get more time and wear into the pitch I guess? That said it didnt do anything in the morning session today.

Why on earth are the commentators still talking about another 50 runs

Might not be the worse idea for Hartley to try giving it a whack.
