*Official* Under 19 World Cup 2020

Two run outs are going to hurt - both as a result of slow scoring.

    4 Day Tests

It seems that the main reason for four day tests is to have the consistent scheduling. Personally, I don't understand why Thursday-Sunday tests make sense anyway. It makes more sense to start a test on the Friday. Often you already know who is going to win by the start of day 3. One point...

    *Official* Big Bash League 2019/20

Khawaja just isn't very useful in T20s once the powerplay is over.

***Official*** Australia in New Zealand 2016

I think you do have to concede that these two tests have been some of the few where the toss actually matters. The problem is that New Zealand Cricket created a pitch where the toss was going to be a hugely important factor. One of the suggestions around removing the toss, was that the away side...

***Official*** Australia in New Zealand 2016

Lyon went for 21 off his 3 overs which wasn't that bad. Lyon is always going to get smashed if the batsmen feel like smashing. He generally has the cricketing brains to just slightly change the ball to get the batsmen to hit it straight to a fielder.

Should the ICC pay International Cricketers?

How would this ever work? The BBL lasts a month as it is. When would you have the BBL and how would that fit in with New Zealand's, Australia's or South Africa's home summer?

Is Chris Gayle some sort of perverted misogynist or can everyone just settle down?

The comments were definitely dickish but there is no need to call a press conference over them. Gayle has apologised which for me is enough. I wonder what punishment those who have condemned him the most on here would like to see?

    **Official** Big Bash 2015/16

I wonder if it is going to lead to changes in the international calendar going forward? I feel that Australia may stop playing international cricket in late January so that the best players can be there for the playoffs.

Taking the pulse: how healthy is international cricket & where are we heading.

Hasn't Hagley had one test? The only time I see more than 7k at the Basin is on a weekend against a top quality opponent (India, Australia, England).

Should the cricket world call it stumps for West Indies cricket?

Michael Clarke played 115 tests. 57 of those tests were against India and England. It's not like Australia are being subjected to a lot of low quality test matches regardless

Should the cricket world call it stumps for West Indies cricket?

It would be terrible if teams can only play within their tier. How do you think New Zealand Cricket would fund their domestic competitions and youth development if they didn't have bumper tours against India and Australia? I think the best test cricket countries shouldn't have to play the worst...

Final - New Zealand v Australia (29th March)

They would need a good spinner to be ranked very high. This is a good bowling line up for this World Cup in Australia. It's not a good bowling line up for the sub continent.

1st Semi Final - New Zealand v South Africa (24th March)

It would be ridiculous if that hit the wire and wasn't out

1st Semi Final - New Zealand v South Africa (24th March)

The game is still in the balance. New Zealand have every chance to win. South Africa have problems with bowling their overs. Duminy still has plenty of overs to bowl and Steyn may or may not be back.

1st Semi Final - New Zealand v South Africa (24th March)

I agree. I just don't think McCullum should receive all the praise when New Zealand wins if he is going to be criticised for doing the exact same thing where things are not going well. I'm not saying McCullum's tactics are great but, as you say, this is just how he captains.

1st Semi Final - New Zealand v South Africa (24th March)

How can you say NZ are being too aggressive when those tactics have got them to this point? If you are going to say a strategy is good then you have to live with it when it doesn't pay off.

Chances of a 12 team tournament in 2019?

If we have to have a ten team tournament then I think every team except for the hosts should have to qualify. You could make some good money by having two separate qualifying tournaments. The problem with the current format is that you have a lot of games at the end which we all know mean...

    14th Match - England v Scotland

Bell's innings looks pretty good now.

How would you run the ICC?

Divisions can't be a closed shop. I would like to see a division structure but I still think there should be some tours where division 1 teams play division 2 teams. It would make sense to me if, over a certain period of time, every division 1 side played each other home and away but they also...

1st Match - New Zealand v Sri Lanka

I don't care if you are 120/1 after 20 but I don't think you are ever favourites chasing 330. With runs on the board it is always going to be difficult to chase that down even if you get off to a good start.
