What basis the basis for your reasoning? In the one match that they have played each other Trinidad and Tobago won by 4 wickets!!! I expect a good contest but I hardly believe that T&T are going in as the underdogs.....quite the opposite IMHO.

.....in the absence of any evidence to the ruling on the field Umpire Harper reverses the decision of Umpire Prince EWS and WI fan is allowed to continue his innings on the CC. Asked why he had overturned the standing umpire's decision Mr. Harper replied, "Well in keeping in the spirit of the...

Not so long actually. Last time was during the World Cup in 2007.........just under 2 years! I hope to be at the 20/20 match this Sunday and I will probably do some "live" posts from my laptop just like the World Cup. The atmosphere at matches in the Caribbean is fantastic and I can well...

Hooray Windies It has been a long time since I last posted but I have been reading the comments on the board nevertheless. I was at the Queen's Park Oval for the end of the England innings yesterday and of the West Indies last two sessions at bat. Let me say for the record that nothing can...

If nothing else the Bangladeshi supporters are giving their side all of the encouragement possible. I have not seen such a dramatic collapse here at the QPO since we (The West Indies) bowled out England for 48.

Absolute pandemonium here in the stands from the Bangladeshi supporters! They want me to tell you all out there that they are going all the way!!!!!!   There are only about a dozen or so where I am sitting but they are having a ball!

I don't know if you guys saw that on television but Yuvraj was practising that same shot between overs. He really telegraphed his intentions.

And to think that Michael Holding said a few days ago that the "minnows" had no place in this World Cup. That's the beauty of cricket....the upsets by the underdogs. I think something very special is going to happen in this World Cup.

Thank god for wireless technology! I have my Dell with me and two spare batteries. The crowd is very good natured and I dont think that we will get any rain today. You now how it is; put two sets of three sticks each 22 yards apart and the rain must fall. They have eased some of the...

200 is more than defensible. In fact this has not ever been a high scoring ODI or test pitch for that matter. The crowd is really getting into it now. I am here between two sets of supporters and the "liquid spirits" are really flowing.

St. Ann's.....and to preempt any "Mad House" jokes I actually do share a common boundary with the "Lands of the St. Ann's Hospital. I can see the roof tops through the trees. I may end up there some day. I have not posted much on Cricket Web over the years as I have been very busy...

Yeah I know it was off topic but we were celebrating with a lot of very cold beer at the time here in Trinidad. I am glad that the guys were able to pick themselves up as a team after that debacle of last week where they scored only 85 against India. I hope that you liked the edited quote from...

After the debacle of 85 all out to India last week it was great to see the guys bounce back. I dont think that they should be taken for granted at all. Great effort. 8-)
