    All-Time South Africa XIs - A re-run

The post was not about who i voted for, it was a statement saying that no way is Sean Pollock better than Mike Procter, saw them both at their peak. Polly was a world class bowler and useful batsman, Procky was a genuine world class all rounder,

    All-Time South Africa XIs - A re-run

I know they didnt play test cricket, but players like Rice, LeRoux, McEwan, Van Der Bijl Kourie and Fotheringham should be allowed, all of them would most certainly break in to the top 30 players,

*Official* South Africa Tour of the West Indies, AUGUST 6th to 26th, 2024-- 2 TESTS & 3 T20Is

I find Ngidi a very frustrating bowler , in the ODIs he looks the part, but with test cricket after his first spell of bowling he seems to lose interest and a bit of venom in his bowling, his fitness is suspect too,, may be the ODIs should be what he concentrates on , just my opinion based on...

*Official* South Africa Tour of the West Indies, AUGUST 6th to 26th, 2024-- 2 TESTS & 3 T20Is

Agreed, he never looks fit, ok for ODIs and T20s , but lacks that bit of zest and venom for test cricket, what are the odds for Burger and Piedt replacing Mulder and Ngidi for the 2nd test,

    Thoughts on Geoffrey Boycott?

Didnt know about that particular report, but as i said in the response to the guy who said he belted his misses , we did not know for certain, meaning i was not convinced he did what he was accused of,

    Thoughts on Geoffrey Boycott?

A very very good opening test match batsmen, who knows how many more centuries and runs he would have scored if he hadnt missed a few years because of the issues with Mike Denness, a straight talking guy and a bit blunt at times which upset some folks, talked to him a couple of times and...

    South Africa team selection

Brand for the sub continent tours may be, Nortje turned down a central contract, is that the end of his test career too ?

    South Africa team selection

A bit puzzled why Paterson and Piedt are in the squad, Harmer is far superior to Piedt and Baartman or Williams imo would have been a better pick,

    Softest cricketer (smallest heart)

Are you forgetting Eddo Brandes, lol, McGrath could dish it out but couldnt take it.

    Softest cricketer (smallest heart)

Glen McGrath, strong cricketer but whined and cried every time he got hit for 4, Lara made him get is handkerchief out quite often.

    South Africa team selection

Dont disagree with what you say, he deserves a good run of test matches. no one should ever play just 1 test match, but i just prefer Rickleton at the moment. both have huge potential.
