ICC 3 vs Cricket Coach 2007

Only played the trials, but CC07 beats ICC3 IMHO. Didn't like the graphics in ICC3, they just don't feel convincing to me. Then again, I like Footie Manager, where 2d graphics give me what I want. And for £9.99 CC07 is great VFM. Just my opinion.

    How do you use length

I think the red is where the bowler is aiming and grey where it pitched....if you watch highlights it tends to prove this. Happy to be proved wrong though

    How do you use length

I tend to use it for spinners, to make the batsman drive the ball, therefore not needing deep fielders behind the bat, except maybe deep backward squareleg for the sweep. Seems reasonably effective, at least i don't get cut through backward point too often.

So how many people ended up buying the game? Are going to buy the game?

I've bought it via the Softwrap, not played much so far, but am enjoying it. The patch to update it will be great....and then I'll start properly as Somerset (20/20 winners 2005) :D

    Icc 2005!

Even if it was just a data update, there's a lot to be said for playing games with accurate data. I'm sure one of the reasons you lot play this game (I haven't since ICC99ish), is for its realism. The like of EA and Codies have tried to make a different type of game which from playing the...

    ICC 2005 - Press Release

Great news...official confirmation at last! Just ordered ICC2002 (£2.99) so that I can get a bit of practice in, ready for the big day.

    Updated Database

Just been reading all 15 pages of this thread, and made me order ICC2002 for £2.99!! Really interesting read. Does the update include missing histories as you've updated the ages? Great work from what I've read.

    International Test Cricket

9/10 - Loved it, my only criticism was that it would've been great to start with current career stats, that would update whilst playing. Hours of fun, but never won the Ashes back. Haven't played it in a little while, and found out the old floppy disk, went to load it, ready to immerse...

    Icc 2005!

Thanks for the info, might see if I can pick up ICC2002 on the cheap somewhere, and then get the update. Hopefully ICC2005 will keep me going for the rest of the summer, until Football Manager 2006 comes out!

    Icc 2005!

Nice post!! I had one of the first ICC games, but its a bit vague these days. Can you choose to bowl over/around the wicket in ICC2005 (or 2002 for that matter?) How many fielding positions can you define, i.e. how many files? (I know there are 11 players per team :D ) How long have you...

    Icc 2005!

As I'm not at all good playing arcade type games requiring a joystick or nimble fingers on the keyboard, eg Cricket 2005 or BLIC (I've tried both demos, but can't imagine them holding my attention for long), I can't wait for ICC2005. I had one one of the early versions (may've been the first...

    ICC2002 Demo

Cheers, had a quick game on that to see what its like. Reminds me of Dan Tomas's game, which means I like it

    ICC2002 Demo

Hi all I'm new to this site, and wondered if there's a demo of ICC2002. Wanted to give it a bash before 2005 comes out. Anyone help?
