Yeah sending jadeja in early and his inability to hit out has put too much pressure on gambhir, yuvraj.Cost the game for india big time.Poor bowling from ishant and zaheer also helped. Dhoni as usual playing his rahul dravidesque game.Well done england.

I think jadeja lost it here for india. Messed up batting building the pressure enormouusly. Big tactical blunder from dhoni here to send jadeja out there.I think the 15th over will decide the game.

    ***Official*** IPL 2009

One of the key for CSK winning has been the loss of flintoff. For making few runs, he compensates that by giving more runs in his bowling or vice versa. That weak bowling slot filled in nicely by jakati who is able to raise his game in few matches and also raina. I hope they think carefully...

    ***Official*** IPL 2009

Iam compelled to comment here.Thats what makes T20 so exciting. Anybody can win on any given day and you do not know what to expect. Deccan winning by 19 runs. There goes in drain, mumbai's chances of making the last 4, possibly.

Fake IPL Player - Very interesting blog

My speculation is it could be a journalist who supports ganguly and indian players, but associated very closely with the team. Could possibly be "sanjay jha" editor of cricketnext.com, from the writing style or may be arun lal (remote chances).

Looks like Dravid has simply lost it. Its time for selectors to seriously consider giving him a golden handshake. Making 20's and 30's and occasional 50's is neither helping him nor the team and this has been going on for pretty long time. More than his poor strike rate , his inability...

I do not expect any change in indian team from last match, except dhoni coming in. I do not see yuvraj nor harbhajan getting dropped. Chances of mishra coming in are really low.

Who's backing the referral system now?

Having 2 referrals per team in test match and using technologies like "hotspot" and "snicko" is the way to go.then iam for it.

    Gautam Gambhir

Agree with it absolutely. He is my favourite cricketer in 2008 and he plays shots all around the wicket. He was also able to handle spinners well (read mendis and murali).Very impressed with his batting and have woken up in nights few times this year to watch his batting alone. Never a dull...

    ***Official England in India***

I think what dhoni was trying to do here, is give confidence to both gambhir and especially yuvraj, to make their hundred on fifth days pitch. Both of them making good scores will do a world of confidence to their batting when they bat or chase in their second innings. Though i agree that dhoni...

Players Who Should Give Up On Playing Test Cricket

yuvraj singh, unless he learns to play spin and flintoff well in tests.

    Rahul Dravid

Dravid gets a lifeline to play in next series against new zealand. We will know whether he is really back in form then:) , if new zealand prepares wickets better than the tour of 2003, which was a shame.
