Best test batsman - Hussain vs Astle

Nasser Hussain for me. Just love his style of play and his square cuts were just marvelous. Plus, a fantastic captain.

    Strong Domestc Sides

Of course, Nayar would be included. He's top class, I simply forgot about him. He's one of my favorite players actually! Dinesh Karthik I think is still the best gloveman in the country. Sure he had a bad tour of Sri Lanka but he's back to his best now, and doing wonderfully in all aspects for...

    Road to IPL 2009.

Chennai need a solid fast bowler. Flintoff, please!

    Your favorite county team

Nottinghamshire. Samit Patel is a freakin' talisman, averages 60 in FC and a solid 45 or so in OD. With the ball, 30's in FC and 25 or so in OD's at 3.98. Rarely lose players to England. Usually it's Broad and Sidebottom, but I kicked Broad out and got Kabir Ali + Hoggard. That'll do nicely...

    ***Official England in India***

It better not rain. I'd laugh, England going back to home - Rain. Go to the middle of the freaking desert - Rain. Come to Chennai - Rain again. It just follows them around!!

    Chanderpaul or Dravid?

Dravid is better then 99.9% of batsman playing cricket currently. He is easily the most techinichally sound batsman in the world.

    Strong Domestc Sides

Current Mumbai team, with internationals: All averages given are career averages. Wasim Jaffer (Ave 49, absolute run machine) Ajinkya Rahane (Average 61, he's just 20 too!) Amol Muzmudar (Average 50 from over 140 matches) Sachin Tendulkar/God (Ave: 59) Rohit Sharma (Absolutely hate the guy: Ave...

Pragyan Ojha vs Murali Kartik - for the Test squad

It's GOT to be Kartik. He's brilliant, he's got a beautiful dip on his bowling and has a great straighter one, arm ball, and a decent doosra. He's soo much better then Ojha for me, and he's actually been performing in the English domestic circuit as well. No contest.

    Steve Waugh v Shane Warne

Waugh. He's proven himself for years and years, and he was one of the finest batsman, cricketers, and captains to ever play the game. Warne's only long stretch of captaincy was in the IPL playing for Rajasthan - a few T20's inside two months. Steve for me.

    Worst Specialist Batsmen currently?

    Jehan Mubarak is a joke!

    favourite bowler during the 90's

Kumble, Donald, Srinath, Pollock, Ambrose, Akram, and Gough. My personal fav's. Good times.

Bracken puts a new spin on bid for Test selection.

Lol, Bracken bowls spin already anyways. All he does is bowl two overs of some swing bowling, and then it's the stump-to-stump-keeper-up-spin-bowling-with-a-long-run-up thing. How he's the number one ODI bowler is beyond me...

Who do you think the best bowlers are at present??

Average of 15 in FC cricket?! Horrible! :p

Who do you think the best bowlers are at present??

Zaheer Khan is one of the best seamers for me. He's just so damn good, get's it in the right area's and troubles the batsman no matter the conditions. And where there is swing in the air - my oh my! He'll just destroy you. He's a classic bowler really, hasn't got the pace but really delivers on...

    Duleep Trophy query

Not sure of the odds, but i've suggested the idea on other forums and I do think this should be considered by the BCCI/ICC or whoever else is involved. I'm sure Bangladesh, Kenya, or an A side from around the world could come in and participate in this tournament. Perhaps even the regular Ranji...

    Chanderpaul or Dravid?

Chanderpaul is an awesome player, and I personally am a huge fan. But Dravid is simply stunning when he's in top form. His concentration is unmatched, his technique perfect and his calculations of match situations are that of a genius. He's a true legend of the game, don't let the last year of...
