    Sanath Jayasuriya VS Jacques Kallis

Well, he and Tendulkar debuted in the same year 1989. The violence at the top started around 1993, and was weaponized in 1995 B&H series.

    Dale Steyn vs Muralitharan

Spinners averaging more in the first innings non - shocker. Spinners average 39.9 in the 1st innings over all tests. Pace bowlers 31.65.

Bart King vs Van der Bijl

Rice was the second best bowler and averaged 46 with the bat. That easily tilts the balance.

    Best SA ODI Pacers

If you consider all SA pacers, it would go as Pollock Donald Fanie Steyn Morkel Rabada Ntini Even Tsotsobe was very impressive during his limited career.

    Best SA ODI Pacers

You can argue it the other way. Donald could have happily attacked because first craig Mathhews, then Fanie and Later Pollock kept it extremely tight at the other end.

    Sanath Jayasuriya VS Jacques Kallis

Jayasuriya comfortably a better player in ODIs than Lara. Lara have a slight edge with the bat, but then Jayasuriya bowls, an ATG fielder, and leaps and bounds better captain.

How would 80s WI and 2000s Australia fare in unbeatable current India?

More like Santner found his radar

Vintcent Van Der Bijl vs Eddie Barlow vs Clive Rice

When some one averages 41 with bat and 23 with ball, that is bloody serious stuff. He is more ODI material than Barlow as well. Barlow is the better test cricketer though.

*Official* New Zealand tour of India 2024

This was what I was worried aboit Santner doing on SL pitches. Luckily he did not get his act in place.

Andy Flower as a wicket keeper ?

    Dave Richardson would disagree.

    Andy Flower vs Alan Knott

There are batsmen who average less than 40 in that side. Drop one of them.

    Battle of the Bowling Peaks

Thing is it never happened in ODIs or tests. Kumble had Lara's number almost every time. Then Kumble had something that pace bowlers have, that is pace. He hit 115k in his prime with his top spinners. Richards took to Hadlee and Imran many times. Give todays bats and attitude you can see them...

    Battle of the Bowling Peaks

Or even McGrath. On other hand, the only batsman who was capable of it was with WI. And he did go after Hadlee in some instances. It's not like we had Gilchrists, Sehwags and Kluseners in such abundance during 80s. Or even Jayasuriya's. On his day he treated Akthar like a medium pacer.

    Andy Flower vs Alan Knott

It's better to have a top class keeper pedestrian than just a pedestrian.

    Battle of the Bowling Peaks

Murali destroyed India and Australia at home. Warne couldn't do a thing against India in away, home , test or ODIs. Sorry man, they are not even close in this regard.

    Andy Flower vs Alan Knott

Drop a pedestrian, get Saha in and have Rishabh as a batsman. Sounds familiar?

The 4th Greatest Wicket keeper Batsman?

If Sangakkara only played as a bat, he would average just to significantly above 60. That makes him easily the best batsman of current era. I'd rate only Bradman and Sobers over him. IF he played his whole career as a wicket keeper, he would have averaged close to 50. I'll put him as equal as...

The 4th Greatest Wicket keeper Batsman?

If Saha can be included then PJ with average of 29 definitely could be. Way better keeper than Saha. Simply was best in the world during his era.

The 4th Greatest Wicket keeper Batsman?

Here we go. Sanga's wk batsman ship is only judged using stats when he kept. But same doesn't apply when he is judged as a pure bat. Then the whole career is taken in to account.
