    ***Official*** Australian Domestic Season 2008/09

I just want to know where they call up all the players from. Say they call them up from the Second XI, where do the players who come into the Second XI come from? Do they have a large player pool from which there are many extra's who they can call in, or do they call up first graders from the...

This is about the worst time for Australian State sides when touring parties are departing and there is also a Twenty20 match on that night, where they lose up a full team with injuries included. I want to know how the Second XI's get by when the FC team take all their players. Just call up...

Wish we made a couple more runs to make them bat again. Back to the drawing board with our batting line up - again.

Huge collapse. We lost 4/8. 6/140. Need a huge partnership here, Rohrer and Lambert are the two who have to create the partnership here.

Are medium-pacers useful in modern test cricket?

Most certainly. They are very useful. They are usually economical and tie up an end, sometimes chipping in with the odd wicket. As long as they are not frontline bowlers and are more batting allrounders or pure than bowling allrounders, they are very useful.

Well then I should be more like Luke Butterworth or something, but I will stick with Dussey. Surprised you didn't make yourself Bracken TBH.

I will make one later today if there is enough interest. What should I do it through? NRL.com, BCU? Interesting. Hoping their young guns can fire.

    First Class Draft

Once on the CricketArchive homepage, how do I navigate to get to the page which calculates players averages for each representative team they have played for?

    Domestic Cricket Draft

Very interested, see there is no spot anyway, would not have the time and commitment anyway. Looking to get into another test draft just like the first one again in perhaps a couple of months time.

Never heard anyone praise him so much. He should bowl at his captain more in the nets. By the way, for those who follow Brisbane/wherever Doran comes from grade cricket how does he go there? Obviously it's a pretty big step up from grade to interstate but I'm interested at how he performs.

Reardon > Doran. Heck, anyone is better than Doran. How he keeps getting in the side baffles me. Note: I have never seen him actually bowl, I am going by what I see on scorecards, read on commentary and by word of mouth and what I read here and a few other forums.
