Who will overtake Murali's test wicket record?

I was indeed referring to NUFAN's post about the 24 year old quicks.

I've never witnessed that, and I play local, regional 4th grade.

 Johnson is a gun. McDonald proving that we would be better off with Bollinger, but his tight bowling must have been decent. Happy for North as well, good stuff.

Who will overtake Murali's test wicket record?

I'm backing Siddle. He looks the goods, genuine pace, can swing the ball. Gul probably wont get enough games (Pakistan's current state and all). However if Morkel continues bowling like he has occasionally in the past and has already today, I can see him taking a lot of wickets.

Johnson to make more runs than McDonald. Yeah, but that was a mistake and the first time I've done it. That's part of the reason why I added the "Gah" bit to my post.

OMFG, so now Haddin is at 8! This is sad. 1 Graeme Smith (capt), 2 Neil McKenzie, 3 Hashim Amla, 4 Jacques Kallis, 5 AB de Villiers, 6 JP Duminy, 7 Mark Boucher (wk), 8 Morne Morkel, 9 Paul Harris, 10 Dale Steyn, 11 Makhaya Ntini. Above is the South African team, same as the last test.

Gah, it's McDonald. Get a clue!

Agree. This is one of the dumbest selections I have seen in a long time (India feels like an age ago to me).

I don't see Victoria taking him with Rogers and Jewell for the 4 day games, but he would certainly add a bit to their One Day teams. However I would like to see NSW keep him, perhaps he should become a shorter form specialist?

Good stuff from the Aussies, especially Katich.

What will the australian under 18 squad look like

Cousin IIRC? I'm sure I remember you posting something about that on CricSim.

Yeah, I will be 14 playing against other 14 year olds (and a couple [not very many] of 13 year olds) if I make rep. And in junior club, I will be 14 playing 13-15 year olds.

Well, for starters, the only one there you would pick would probably be Ferguson. Rodgers, Jewell and sometimes Klinger are openers, so Ferguson and Carseldine are the best options for mine. Carseldine hasn't really done enough, his average over his first class career is 37 - not a shadow on...

Mainly how we perform, but also how the selectors have seen us in limited opportunities in the past. I performed poorly last time I made rep, under 12's it was (in the 2007/08 season) and I am sure that affected me when I tried out for under 14's rep (2008/09) this season. However I think I...

I have been for a little while now. I have been playing both juniors and seniors from a month before we broke up for Christmas to now.

I would agree with this. This season, 2 teams did not field teams in under 15's, so we had a 4 team competition (2 of those teams being my club, we fielded 2 sides, and I was in the team with 8 players whilst the junior head coaches team gets 11). Next year that should improve though, because I...

David Hussey for sure. He deserves his chance and has been one of the form players in the Australian and English domestic comps for years now. He is a fantastic player in the longer form as well as his recently exposed shorter forms of the game, and his first class average of 54 supports his...

Fair enough. But if I make rep I am not too keen on playing junior club as well, cause I have 2 games on Saturday (from 8-6 odd) and then on Sunday from 9:15-5).
