Yeah same here, but that's because I always play for enjoyment rather than winning. Plus, at the highest level, it's just sensible to take wickets no matter how they come. Not really anything to complain about IMO - Murali should've known better.

Yeah. I think technically Pathan is comparable to Jaffer. I actually thought they should make this move after Gambhir was dispensed with, and if Jaffer fails consistently I'd like to see Pathan opening. It gives another bowling option and he's good enough to see off the new ball as long as he...

Here's something a bit unusual (but I don't think it'd be the worst move): Sehwag Pathan Dravid Tendulkar Laxman Ganguly Dhoni Kumble Sreesanth VRV Zaheer

No way. It's just been poor batting, and dodgy technique. The pitch is decent.

Not necessarily so...although they're a different side and all that, here's what happened in England's tour matches on their last trip to South Africa and they ended up doing well.

You're unbelievable. Unless you're a complete dolt, it's quite obvious what point I (and others are making), yet you still choose to ignore it. adharcric is right, it's not worth debating with you.

    Best Spinner ever

So I suppose Mark Waugh was a better batsman than Bradman, after all, he made more runs. And I suppose Kapil Dev was a better bowler than Richard Hadlee - again, more wickets. No-one in this thread (or pretty much anywhere) is rating a bowler on the sheer number of wickets they take. What...

Difficult for a player of his style?

    Fletcher's a joke

Vettori seems to be ridiculously overrated at times. He's a good ODI bowler, but has been largely ineffective in Tests for a long time.

Worst batting lineup, India or Pakistan ??

Inzi hasn't been in great form of late.

Yes. I remember the team looking far more professional during the 03/04 tour of Australia, and they were certainly doing proper warmups before every day of the Boxing Day Test.

BREAKING NEWS:::: SHOIAB and ASIF ban Lifted!!!!!!

    1. Where exactly is the evidence that there are different rules or more lenient rules for the subcontinent? If anything, historically it's been the other way around. 2. There's effectively no difference between taking steroids and diuretics - diuretics act as a masking agent for 'actual'...
