Anything between the US Open and the season ending finals is pretty much a waste of time.

Should Australia have 8 states instead of 6

Hansen has come back and plays for Queanbeyan, I got him out in a game season before last. He generally plays 2nd's as a middle order batsman and part time bowler.

Moller played under 23's this week and only scored 5 and 15. I wonder if thats hurt his chances.

Think New Zealand would have won if they didn't have half the team missing. Brett Morris in for Folau too btw.

Neither should be in the squad tbh. Farah is clearly the better player but he's a bit like Gidley for mine in that when he's the star of the side he goes well but put him with other good players then he doesn't really offer much value.

Should Australia have 8 states instead of 6

ACT could potentially have a good enough side to be in both competition but they'd probably struggle to win more than a game or two every now and then. The players have ability but seem to lack consistentcy, someone like David Dawson who went to Tasmania scored a century and carried his bat in...

IMO whoever if John Howard gets that position its just going to be as a figurehead, I doubt he'll actually do much.

Pretty sure he was just left out. I suspect once injuries have taken care of a few players in the named squad Ben Creagh, Darius Boyd, Tom Learoyd Lahrs, Justin Poore and or David Taylor may find themselves in the 24.

Prince is better off not being in the squad, what's the point travelling half the way around the world for six weeks in November to play a token test match against France.

Not a bad squad overall, Hoffman being picked over Creagh on the back of one match pretty much is poor, Farah over Ennis could have gone either way while Shillington in front of Weyman, Poore, Taylor or Learoyd Lahrs is a surprise too.

Hat trick to Cam Gannon for Queensland, anyone know anything about him? Comets now 5/51 going great guns.

Make that 4/50. Jono Nicoll joining Tom Thornton at the crease.

Comets have collapsed in a heap after being 0/49 they are now 3/50. Tom Thorton still win with Higgs just coming to the crease.
