Seen them in the flesh XI

Forgot Kumble in my 2nd XI, should be in place of Vettori.

Ricky Ponting the new John Laws

Reading back on that stuff, they were quite funny at times. I think it was Slow Love who said they'd be pretty valuable forummers if they could've turned it off sometimes and not gotten a bit nasty.

Seen them in the flesh XI

Noticed I put in 12 rather than 11 players, and forgot some I saw in action, so here's an updated Best XI I've seen: Kirsten Hayden Ponting Tendulkar Lara S Waugh Gilchrist Warne McGrath Donald Murali And a 2nd XI: Langer Sehwag Dravid Kallis Pietersen Inzamam Sangakkara Flintoff Pollock...

As an Australian Cricket Fan I'm disgusted...

 Anyway, the fact that you'd like to abuse opposition players at all speaks volumes imo.

Seen them in the flesh XI

Kirsten Hayden Ponting Dravid Tendulkar Lara Inzamam Gilchrist Flintoff Warne McGrath Murali Could change a few names easily though. Going to games like the Tsunami Appeal match and the Super Series has meant I've been able to see quite a few of the 'stars' in action.

*** Official *** Pakistan in India

Don't think so. 1. We aren't even sure that Dhoni will get the Test captaincy. It's probable, but it's not a sure thing and at any rate it's a bit early to declare him a great captain. As far as I know, Malik has a reputation for being a good young captain as well. 2. In terms of batting, I'd...

How was the game long-lost when he scored the 63? India won that game, and a lot of it was down to Karthik's knock.

    Trivia question

Tendulkar has played a lot more Tests outside Asia than Gavaskar, so he'd probably have more runs. Another contender would be Dravid. Edit: Looked up some figures: Tendulkar - 59 Matches outside Asia 4524 runs @ 49.17 13x100 22x50 Dravid - 48 Matches 4341 @ 59.47 10x100 23x50 Gavaskar - 46...

    Trivia question

I'm going with my previous guess of Clive Lloyd with 1629.

Pakistan fans arrested for racial abuse

Arrests for racist abuse seems slightly ridiculous to me. By all means kick them out of the stadium, but leave it at that. And this is from someone who has been a target of racial abuse. Any talk of 'beating' them is pretty poor as well imo. Why turn to violence?

    Media Spins (Better than Warne/Murali)

    Haha, it's the Herald Sun.

Often your idea of proof differs greatly from others though.

    I has been drinking...

Don't want to get into a whole thing here, but looking at the commentary of the match in question he didn't actually slow down after his ton, but continued at the same pace. Personally I don't recken Kallis is a 'selfish' batsman, but I can see why the perception exists. To me it's more as if...

    Why....

Yeah, same. Although it can still be difficult to say what constitutes a good attack/team or not. I would rate this Gilchrist's innings in this match much higher than Pietersen's in this match although the former was against a team identified as a 'minnow'.
