AWTA. Hence why I tipped us 12th this season.

Only have to look at the Raiders for example, how Troy Thompson is continously selected is beyond me, then you have guys like Grant Rovelli, Michael Bani, Shane Elford, Joel Moon, Jarrad Hickey, Lopini Paea, pretty much anyone that plays for the Sharks etc... It's just more of a case that theres...

Naa thats fair value, as a product the NRL is generally the best game for television. The players just need to sort themselves out cause the standard this season has been a disgrace.

    Rugby League Draft 2

102 NRL games is not exactly "hardly any league"

Drop ball is the order of the day at the moment, was so pumped for three straight live games tonight but they have been three of the most horrific matches I've seen in a long time. There are so many sub-standard NRL players running around at the moment, can't see how anyone can justify a case...

Nothing to do with abilty, all to do with politics, they'll make the second round and in most likely dubious circumstances.

Agree on both points. In three years the two best props in the game will be Ben Hannant and Russell Packer, we have a chance to add Hannant to what will eventually be a solid rotation with Nick Kenny, Josh McGuire and David Hala, surely we should be looking at him.

Poore was so good last year it's amazing how much his form has turned around. TBH though he is clearly carrying some injuries and he didn't play a lot of minutes last night.

I don't know if going back to Sydney is a great idea for him at this stage though, wasnt being there half the problem to begin with? I'd have liked to have seen the Broncos do more to try and keep him in Brisbane, we have plenty under the cap and with Lockyer winding down his career Smith is...

South Africa will go through, I believe I'm right in saying no host has ever failed to get out of the group stages? I'm sure FIFA will see it neccesary that they make the second round at least, hopefully it wont be as ridiculous as what happened with South Korea in 2002 though.

Ervine, to be different. Johnson probably my least favourite of the current Australian team.

I thought he played at 06, in fact I'm certain he did as I believe he was one of the Serbia players fined for their poor performance. I know he went to Fenerbache and then PSG on loan and then they bought him but I wasn't sure where he went after that as I've noticed he hasn't been playing. So...
