Whoo, a bit fast and loose outside off from Jaques so far, clearly taking a leaf out of Langer's handbook in these kinds of situations.

Haha, not to worry mate, a few of us are still stinging from our insistence that Hayden's career be ended after the '05 Ashes. Or that he not be included in the squad for the '07 World Cup, for that matter. All in the CW archives, for anybody to pull out at an inconvenient moment.

I'd hit it. Not saying much there though, TBF. Don't know what Cap Cricket saw in terms of what she was wearing, she had on an untroubling black dress when I saw her do the weather just now.

Rogers still walking a long way across the stumps. Wouldn't surprise me if he struggled here, but I wouldn't write him off on that basis - it's asking a hell of a lot of a player on debut.

Will likely get forgotten in the final analysis (whatever the result), but IMO he has been fantastic. I've really enjoyed watching the intelligence of his bowling.

Didn't know that, but 370 was pretty much my upper limit. With no Hayden, I give this game 90/10 to India now. I'll reserve that 10% because, like I said earlier, this is an exceptional team, but I certainly expect India to win the match from this point. Bloody India (and Laxman) ending our...

Wonder what Tait's speeds were like in that spell. He seemed to be really pushing it through more so than effectively slinging the ball.

And Symonds strikes! Wow that was a weird shot from Dhoni.

Yeah, I'll back you up on that one, mate. He does have a long-standing tendency to overbowl Symonds though, don't know why.

Getting itchy fingers for the fat lady, Pratyush? Getting very close to Australia's limits now, IMO.

Could be, but it's just as likely it's a confidence thing, too, after his little explosion last night (which, although I felt sympathy, was hilarious). He'd clearly lost something, he was all over the place and grunting louder than Sharapova. Don't know for sure but if it's not something...

And looking like he's really lost heart, too.

Yep. May not come off, but I like the thinking. Come on Symmo. Stick it to the h@terz.

14 runs off the last 10 overs - glad the run-flow has been staunched.

    Reps?

Urgh... Good point, well made. Let's not.

Would really like 5 test series between these two teams. The last four Aus v India contests (including this one) have been crackers (even if the flat wickets of 03/04 hurt the spectacle a little).

I think some of the fans are just pissed off with being laughed at and ridiculed for daring to hope. It's too similar to JustTool's routine. But ultimately if you think the only way the Indians can be seen to have done well is by winning (against a team so dominant in world cricket AND on...

Yeah, Ponting in a very inenvious position having to juggle his bowlers at the moment. Obviously fast wickets are needed, but every run hurts and he has a couple of guys really struggling just to control their line.
