    *Official* Fourth Test at Headingley

A repeat of this is obviously going to happen; 2nd Test: South Africa v England at Durban, Dec 26-30, 2004 | Cricket Scorecard | Cricinfo.com

    *Official* Fourth Test at Headingley

Pizzorno adores that sign! Putting them in their place good and proper that; they may be hammering us but they're still crims.

    *Official* Fourth Test at Headingley

Add to that Mitch Johnson has scored more fifties than Bopara.

    *Official* Fourth Test at Headingley

This is shoddy how the players have just given this up. We could have at least reduced the lead to under 200 if we'd bowled properly this morning. Oh well, hopefully they can put the defeat behind them going into the Oval. At least this hammering might force the selectors into making the...

Just a shame that he decides to bowl well when the rest of the bowlers aren't at the races.

    *Official* Fourth Test at Headingley

And very well played to that man. But getting out to Stuart Broad cancels it out i'm afraid.

    *Official* Fourth Test at Headingley

I like this new tactic of using the full and straight ball as a surprise delivery. Stroke of genius I say.

    *Official* Fourth Test at Headingley

It's light-hearted ironic booing. Was always going to happen after the ECB got all pissy about it.

    *Official* Fourth Test at Headingley

That's what I was thinking. We're in dire straits so far and Clark hasn't even come on yet. He'll have a field say against Bell.

I called it. Set of absolute bottlers the lot of them.

    *Official* Fourth Test at Headingley

You can hardly blame us for being pessimistic when our tail starts at 3 and we still insist on picking Stuart Broad.

    *Official* Fourth Test at Headingley

Forgive my pessimism England fans, but today is the day that we see the Ashes slip away I reckon.

    *Official* Fourth Test at Headingley

Just got in from the dentist, yet seeing our teamsheet has caused me far more pain. 1-1 going to the Oval then.

    *Official* Fourth Test at Headingley

I take it Phil Hughes has been updating his Twitter then.

Michael Clarke possibly out of the 4th test?

I'm sure the crims would be hoping for a Mcflurry of runs from him if that was the case. I'll get my coat.

    Underrated gems

This second-innings 104* from Thorpe against New Zealand in 2004; 3rd Test: England v New Zealand at Nottingham, Jun 10-13, 2004 | Cricket Scorecard | Cricinfo.com One may say it was only New Zealand, but regardless he came to the crease at 46/3 chasing 284 and ushered the lower order superbly...

    *Official* Fourth Test at Headingley

Yeah, I realised it would be tempting fate to have a crim there. On another note i'm predicting that we'll win the Ashes at Headingley because i've already been put through an FA Cup final defeat and life would just be completely unfair if we lost the Ashes too. :(
