*Official* Fifth Test at The Oval

All that's left for me to say is that it's been terrific to follow the Ashes over here at CW and the good natured crim baiting that came with it. Probably won't be around as much until we go to South Africa so until then gentlemen.

Biggest disapointment of the 2009 Ashes?

Whether it be a player or a passage of play or whatever, what is your biggest disapointment of the series just gone? Personally for me it's Peter Siddle. A lot of the crims were talking him up as the next big thing yet apart from the first innings at Headingley he did next to nothing. Same goes...

If ever there was a time for sentiment it's now. Bring Flintoff the last wicket up please.

I was taking the piss. Mocking my own pessimism.

Siddle's looking worryingly solid in defense.

*Official* Fifth Test at The Oval

In the context of the series, i'd have to say Collingwood's or Anderson's at Cardiff have proved to be the most important.

You just know that if roles were reveresed Australia would have had us bowled out by now. They wouldn't even have given us a sniff of victory, whereas we've given Australia a fairly strong smell.

*Official* Fifth Test at The Oval

Well i'm just keeping my feet on the ground tbh. Hussey and Haddin can easily score big hundreds, and then there's always the potential of Johnson coming in to smash a few which will unsettle the bowlers as well.

Will more than definitely happen to be honest. I still refuse to believe this game is over.

I was always more scared of North than Clarke in this situation anyway. Clarke was never gonna do anything.

*Official* Fifth Test at The Oval

To be fair, I was always more scared of Clarke than Ponting in this situation. Game still on.

*Official* Fifth Test at The Oval

Please England, please. Get the job done. Losing this would be so completely and utterly demoralising that the whole team would be never have the belief in themselves to ever win a game again.

I seriously do think we'll lose this. My stomach is churning so badly.

    Famous Cricket Fans?

Phil Neville. They don't get more famous than him. FTR he used to captain Andrew Flintoff in one of Lancashire's youth sides ages ago. Fred himself said he was better than him...
