Seen enough of Roy as an opener now. Move him down to 4 if we have to keep him, but time for a proper opener like Sibley to come in, and we need to get Root back down to 4 but **** knows who bats 3. I guess it depends how Denly does here.

Thank god it's going to rain later. Can't watch this little **** bat all day again.

What? Archer said he loves bowling long spells and has bowled a ton of overs in an innings for Sussex in the past (over 50 in an innings I think he said), so I don't have any issue with him bowling long spells if he's fit enough and bowling well.

Looks a bit high, but amazing what can happen when you actually pitch the ****ing thing up.

Khawaja edges two full balls so Woakes follows up with two short wide pies. ****ing genius bowling this morning.

Bancroft has looked all at sea against the moving ball, so Archer decides to bowl 80% short. Genius. Get Woakes on.

Thought Jof bowled a bit short last night, has he bowled a bit fuller this morning?

This is not a new thing. Buttler was the only one to average over 40 last year in England, and only 6 batsmen averaged over 30 - 3 of them were Dom Bess, Chris Woakes and Sam Curran. Our batsmen haven't known how to bat at home for a while.

This batting line-up are utter ****.

That is an insane catch from Bancroft. Fair play.

    ****ing love Rory Burns.

    2nd Test, Lord's, London

 Burns is gonna be one of those irritating troll openers that everyone hates except the fans of the team he plays for. Also, Paine is ****.

Not really a jinx when it's inevitable. Unintentional 100%. The timeline is fascinating, some of his interviews are so bizarre.

Holy ****, Denly's into the 30s. Could this be the day he finally makes a decent contribution? Probably not, but it's good to hope.

Denly's into the 20s. Get ready in the slips.

Leach got runs against medium plodders. In CC he has a reputation for being awful against pace, got pinned by Morkel and barely made a run until the Ireland game (CC high score of 9 this season from 12 innings). He's going to get peppered by the Australians when he comes in. Any real suggestions...

Denly to come in, make a pretty 20 and get out. He's like Ian Bell at his very worst.
  19. King Pietersen

    2nd Test, Lord's, London

Nice that from Hazlewood. Slightly fuller and catches Root in front, that's so out. This is going well......

Nice pie from Siddle to start.
