*Official* First Test at Trent Bridge

It only takes something such as this to galvanise a whole team. Might seem a little drastic, but I genuinely fear for England in the rest of the series because of this. Aussies buoyed.

I hope England don't use that third umpire not out decision as an excuse for this. Fair enough it's a valid excuse, but crap crap bowling is what's cost us.

England in fannying around not getting rid of the final wicket shocker.

Of all the teams to choke against, we just had to pick the biggest shower of arseholes in world sport.

This. Not too downhearted by Strauss being out, think it could be one of those days that are tailor made for KP.

Anderson's high average is pretty much down to how expensive he was between 2003 to around about 2007. Doesn't reflect fairly on him now.

That's because there is very little between them. Steyn is better, but not by a great distance. And well done to Graeme Smith on the 100, one of the best of the modern era. Top bloke.

2008 was when he first burst onto the scene though, was probably down to youthful exuberance. You'd think he'd have toned down a bit 4 years down the line. I remember Anderson was the same when he first started, must have proper annoyed opposition fans.

COME ON ENGLAND!!! Gotta bat first here, show Styen early on that we can handle him. Even though we probably can't.

Fantastic bowling, they've been bang on the money all series. If only our batsmen had played as well as them throughout the tour... Whether we deserve to be number 1 or not, our bowling attack certainly does.

Yeah I have to agree, United lost it when Scholes was brought off. He was bossing the game and Liverpool couldn't get a sniff.

Very worried about Bell. Was embarrassing seeing the English media fapping over him being one of the world's best players of spin last summer when he was up against an out of form Indian attack on non spin friendly wickets.
