    *Official* Australia in Bangladesh

Just checked White's account, a few transactions to a certain Mr Hilditch and a couple to Sutherland.

What looked so promising has turned back to business as normal.

Nothing wrong with giving White a bowl, he's a part timer like Dussey. However if his batting doesn't improve then the bowling doesn't matter.

Ah so Smith was run out, that makes sense as he has a lot of them to his name.

Smith is in apparently, so that Johnson run out never happened. Totally whacky.

Surely this would be the time to give Smith a bat, they have now sent Lee in front of him, if this was a proper match you could understand but it's meant to be a match to get your batsmen some time in the middle.

Wouldn't that just be the 2007 WC format?

Why do we always have a North around.

Not surprised but disappointed. Hopefully James Pattinson gets a game or two else we would have gained nothing.

    Shaun Tait quits cricket

Not a huge loss as he lost his devastation a long time back with the brief devastating spell like in England.

Australian Discussion (Final Squad Announced Post #82)

Once again the selectors persisted with a batsmen far too long when he should have been dropped earlier. Again they picked bowlers that were inconsistent although to an extent their hand was forced with the injuries. Selections were again a shambles, Hussey not being picked, Doherty not being...

As I said a day or so ago, you don't need to attack our bowlers they will give you the crap to put away.

What a shot by Dussey, been waiting awhile to see him reproduce his knock against WI, this might be the day. And awesome knock Ricky, a heap of pressure all over the place not to mention the match and he produces his best in ages.

You don't really need to target the Aussie bowlers, they will usually bowl you balls to hit. Even Lee has proven to be hittable in this WC, Johnson and Tait naturally do that. If they are on song which hasn't happened in this WC then they ain't much you can do.

*Official* Quarter Final 2 - India v Australia

I agree Ponting is the big key and to an extent White. However if Haddin bats like he did against Pakistan then he is a problem as we have quite a few players in our side that also chew up balls including Ponting himself and White. His knock against NZ was perfect, that is what I believe he is...

*Official* Quarter Final 2 - India v Australia

He might be surviving past the 10-15 over but he still getting out to a needless shot see the Pakistan game. And telling a guy to basically be there till the end is telling him to take less risks. That in turn has led to Haddin's slow scoring rate. Now Ponting wants him to score quicker i.e...
