    Australian Domestic Season 2011-12

Looks like Warner has turned the corner, this was the one format he was poor at last season but he's already kicked the season off with a 50.

Boy Marsh has become consistent since stepping up.

The old Siddle is certainly back again. This will be a painful summer.

    Australian Domestic Season 2011-12

Quite the change for Maxwell, was getting smashed in the last match and now ends up going at just over 2 an over.

    Australian Domestic Season 2011-12

Ah good our next OD game is at the SCG, will give us a better idea of Dan Smith's batting form. Good time for Warner to fine tune his OD game too and Steve Smith to do something.

Problem for Copeland from this match was his economy. He might have been able to get away with a wicketless spell but his bread and butter was not there yesterday. Not a fan of having Johnson and Siddle together but they do perform in SA and usually are economical. What happens when we get back...

    Australian Domestic Season 2011-12

Is this season the one Henriques will finally break through? Seems to be scoring runs more consistently just needs to get that break through 100.

Harris showing he's a class above. Backup bowlers are doing their job nicely.

The saying that tailenders can't help themselves against spinners was so true today.

    Australian Domestic Season 2011-12

Henriques hasn't scored a ton before, still seems to be lacking that application but at least he's making some runs now.

The two guys unlucky not to be in the ODI side are in together and needing to save the day.

    Australian Domestic Season 2011-12

I see Handscomb has played English County cricket already and made some runs in the games I looked at. Nice seeing our batsmen actually doing their job this time round. Hopefully this is the season Henriques lives up to his hype.

Sounded like Johnson was getting swing so if he wasn't a certainty he is now. Solid debut by Marsh and Cummins, both look to be players our ODI side has been calling for.

Nice to have something to look forward to in our ODI side. Warner, one of Cummins/Pattinson and possible Mitch Marsh.

Would explain why Cummins is able to swing it both ways at his pace not to mention has good control for a quick. I would say Mitch Marsh or Smith would be at 7.

George certainly reminding the selectors he is still around.

    Australian Domestic Season 2011-12

Don't really think Jaques is suited down the order so Smith would be ahead of him.

Australia in South Africa 2011-12: Shane Watson, Shaun Marsh doubtful for ODIs | Cricket News | South Africa v Australia | ESPN Cricinfo Much rather see Mitch Marsh over White. Watson's injury could well open the door for Marsh as well and Warner probably will get a chance to open. Hopefully he...

Copeland has to be given a go in SA, you don't take a punt on him in SL to ditch him in his more favoured conditions. If the selectors want to know if he can make it at the next level then they have to take a look at him on decks that suit his bowling along side the Aussie decks where he will...
