Wade is showing he has patience, his SR is now below Cowan.

Cowan certainly can bat long periods, the Shield final he made his 100 odd in over 300 balls.

Then Pup gives him a big pat on the bat for playing his natural game!

Over 56.4: Williamson to Wade, SIX, charging and hitting well over mid wicket clearing the rope and bouncing into the next car park, massive six! Over 56.2: Williamson to Wade, FOUR, charging and hit well down the ground for a boundary How's that?

Cowan again performing in an A clash. If he can go on with it he might well be backup batsmen. Looks like a guy that puts a high value on his wicket.

Patterson is a bit taller so he should be able to add bounce to his armoury.

We might be pushing our luck but no one would have predicted the debut Cummins had so maybe lightning can strike twice and Pattinson has a similar debut. The big loss is Watson obviously, Cummins hard to say since we only saw him in one game and see first sentence. I would have had Copeland...

Bracewell having an awesome match. Maddinson's poor start to the season continues.

Solid hit out for him, hopefully Maddinson can make some runs.

Seems to be less four balls from the Kiwis, well either that or McCullum was really that unstoppable.

    Australian Domestic Season 2011-12

Well he showed the first innings wasn't a fluke, now for other grounds.

He loves the long spells, he just bowled 11 overs straight in the current match. God knows how many he bowled in that Shield final, the commentators kept mentioning Cummins mammoth overs, Copeland was well past that.

That's where Copeland should come into it.

Patterson looks to be the best of the bunch. Unless we do another Cummins and promote Jackson Bird :p

So while Patterson is getting top edges, Hilfy is being smoked to the boundary.

Looks about right if worse comes to shove. Hopefully Cummins is right on his body though then we don't have to worry about it.

Oh crap that sucks for Cummins, I really hope this isn't him going down the Watson/Harris road. The last I read he mentioned his injury isn't too serious and mentioned he should be right to go. How much you trust in a player's judgement is another question. As for the replacement I'm guessing...

Bit confusing what is going on, how I understand it is the selectors are getting together today to discuss it while the squad will be announced next week.

    Australian Domestic Season 2011-12

Injury is really killing Henriques' good start to the season. Paterson did will in u19s so should be good seeing how he goes.

If we can get a good amount of overs in tomorrow then who knows as the last two days are sunny.
