    Just a quick question

There will be new players coming through every year. Make sure you spot good ones early (generally you look at 2nd team averages as a guide for whether a young player is going to be good) and give them "technique" sessions.

    A Must See !!

To whoever is bowling in that... don't think we didn't see your half-track double-bouncers... atrocious.

    CW Battrick Cup (Season 11)

I wouldn't sell yourself short... you have a pretty good side and on your day (as seen as against Dwyer, and maybe even as far back as the last time you creamed me) you are pretty hard to beat.

Hughes, I find, isn't that great (so I had to edit him a bit in my game). Pomersbach is freakishly good however.

    CW Battrick Cup (Season 11)

Meh. You would be the one with everything to lose. Sublime PFLs, versus my Friday fixture with a Div 1 FC side. I'm expecting to lose, whoever I come up against.

    CW Battrick Cup (Season 11)

Phew, there it is. Anchormen 3/300 beat Boggles 4/256 by 44 runs. MotM: Xolani for mine, invaluable contribution. Anywho - this takes me to the semis! For the first time in a while. Equals my best ever performance in the CW Cup (which I have done 3 times). Now I need a bit of luck in the next...

When will South Africa play Sri Lanka in a test series again?

Agreed. And hey - didn't that one guy - forget his name - survive being shot in the head? Well, I guess, as a result of a one-off occurrence, we can conclude that every single future repeat of such circumstances will yield the same result. 8-)

    Well... End of Over 46: 221-2, runrate=4.80, reqrunrate=20.00 (300-3) Appleyard 8-0-54-1 Moodley* 20 (14 balls) Clemence 21 (25 balls) Last Wicket: Chanderpaul c. Shaw b. Appleyard 106 (FOW: 186/2) Feeling a bit more confident now. The equation: 80 runs, 24 balls.

    CW Battrick Cup (Season 11)

A very good effort this is by Dyke and Mcmillan... really piling on the pressure. End of Over 39: 174-1, runrate=4.46, reqrunrate=11.55 (300-3) Mcmillan 10-0-41-0 Chanderpaul* 99 (99 balls) Clemence 1 (4 balls) Last Wicket: Xolani Hit Wicket b. Dyke 72 (FOW: 171/1) As Pete said... Xolani gone...

    CW Battrick Cup (Season 11)

Xolani's incompetence has played a big role so far. Had he gone out and someone capable of scoring quicker come in, this may be in the bag by now. Stay in, Xolo!

When will South Africa play Sri Lanka in a test series again?

It'd be an interesting series but I don't think Sri Lanka have that much to be confident about. South Africa are a very strong side.

    CW Battrick Cup (Season 11)

End of Over 50: 300-3, runrate=6.00 Clemence 10-0-65-0 Bhutia* 82 (79 balls) Mcmillan 48 (37 balls) Last Wicket: Shaw c. Clemence b. Ferrell 101 (FOW: 218/3) That concludes what is just about the best batting performance I could have hoped for. Coming against miraculous/sensational bowling...

    CW Battrick Cup (Season 11)

Grr... Shaw! Why?! Mcmillan, who isn't exactly in great form, comes to the crease to join Bhutia, who IS in good form at the moment: End of Over 39: 218-3, runrate=5.59 Ferrell 8-1-44-1 Bhutia* 49 (49 balls) Mcmillan 0 (0 balls) Last Wicket: Shaw c. Clemence b. Ferrell 101 (FOW: 218/3)

    CW Battrick Cup (Season 11)

Well the game has started. I lost the toss and was sent in to bat - which was weird, because I had planned to bat first anyway. Hard & fast pitch, sunny conditions - perfect for batting. I have rejigged the batting order a tiny bit after I lost a rather crucial OD game on Friday (which basically...

See, I actually prefer FC in some regards. More tactics involved. Although it is pretty much, the better side wins, especially since every game is a PAN.

Haha yes, I've seen that. In fact, Saqlain was quite prolific for England until he retired. And about India... yeah, tell me about it! They have ridiculous talent coming through ALL THE TIME.
