Yep, see them not out more often then not. Great awareness from Butler though.

If I were England I’d defintely be picking Moeen in India, regardless of whether he’s “cold” or not.England need to protect Bess he’s still very young yet, if things went Dane Piedt for him out there, he could find it very hard to come back from.

Feel Bess could get absolutely destroyed in India.

Feel KJP is a no win situation - gets shoehorned in as an opener and you’d probably think he gets dropped if he fails, deserves a regular middle order spot. Could see him getting in the ICC top 10 long term if he batted there consistently.

Dilruwan is way past his sell by date in this side.

***Official*** India's Tour of Australia 2020/21 - General discussion

If I was Maxwell I’d have been fuming about being batted behind Henriques and Green, especially given the form he had shown already in this series.

Steve Harmison - How good was he?

Thanks for feedback everyone, looked into his career a bit more and I do think that depression and homesickness hampered him away from home, especially in South Africa 2004 which seemed to be the worst of it. Was probably best for him when his england career ended when it did, always enjoyed...

Steve Harmison - How good was he?

Been watching a lot of the ashes 2005 Egbaston test ball by ball shown on sky sports UK at the moment.I was only 9 years old when this actually aired and so haven’t really seen much but highlights to go off, but I was just wondering what the perception of Steve Harmison as a bowler was?He was...

Man this Windies team are such an exciting prospect under Pollard.Could do some great things in the next few years if they can get some decent spinners

Should never have been recalled after playing no first class cricket.

Should get there easily, shouldn't he? Think him and Ashwin could well be two of the last cricketers to get there.

Piedt was actually a decent young offie with a great first class record until he dislocated his shoulder in the 2014 Champions League.Never really was the same after that.Had a FC bowling average of 24 or something before the shoulder injury compared to 32 now.

    South Africa team selection

What was the point of that A tour before this senior one if someone like Mulder who impressed on it had no chance of being a late draft into the squad?

Yeah he held it together first innings to be fair, just second innings was pretty disappointing

Maharaj was so disappointing, especially when you consider how well he did last year against Sri Lanka in the sub continent and the successful county stint he’s just come off with Yorkshire.Still though, he’s good enough to learn from this and come back stronger 2nd test.

Surely Faf should stop hiding away at 5 and bat 4 now for the good of the team?
