    2nd Match - Australia v England

Well this all started with my sleeping through the 3:00 alarm. Probably a Good Thing. Although this next 15 overs will probably yield 150. What's the highest WC total again. James Taylor should be having nightmares about that throw.

Bermuda are in Division Four. Their cricket has fallen off a cliff since the glory days of Dwayne Leverock.

    Best ODI uniforms

I've never dared to share this opinion on the grounds that I didn't think anyone else would be in remote agreement, or even understand what I was on about. So, yes. Agreed.

Nope, was umpire's call on the top of leg stump.

Yeah. Not big, but noticeable and in exactly the right place and appearing at exactly the right time.

I was sceptical from the first replay, but the combination of the noise on Snicko and the faint spot on the underside of the bat in the second angle can only be indicative of a thin edge.

The second angle of the hotspot is probably sufficient. Without that I don't think it could have been given.

Actually, did Taylor try to leave that?

That's a tremendously poor shot. Bakerloo.

Plus the worst stumping of all time. Right, it's now 4.30am and Kumar has ruined my sleep patterns so I'm off.

Agreed. Absence of Evidence is not Evidence of Absence.

Out for me, I think there's a double noise in slow motion but snicko doesn't agree. Hot Spot looks good, though, so he should probably be on his way... EDIT: Double noise is both pads. Can understand how it's not out in real time but the Hot Spot must be conclusive.

    How good is Sanga?

I think he was, too. Happy now?

Possibly the best thing about all-night cricket from the other side of the world is that we get pundits who actually offer insight over soundbites. Wonder how many kids they have managed to put off wicketkeeping with that bit, though...

I have it on an iPad screen that I'm not really paying attention to, but the noise just didn't sound *quite* right on first hearing so I wasn't too surprised to see the replay showing jumper rather than bat.

    Outstandingly unintelligent shot from Rahul.
