    ***Official*** English Domestic Season 2015

Right on cue. Ansari nicks behind in the second over without scoring.

    ***Official*** English Domestic Season 2015

Sachin not selected - hasn't been for either of the opening games that I've seen. Spin duties will be Jack McIver's. It is the Scottish Freddie Coleman but I don't think Oxford will see much of him this season with Warwickshire calling. Anyway, bright, but breezy here. Looks a bit of grass on...

    ***Official*** English Domestic Season 2015

Sanga's not in the Surrey squad, but KP is. The Oxford batting has struggled in both games so far but their seamers bowled very well at times against Middlesex earlier in the week. Surrey: Gareth Batty (capt), Zafar Ansari, Rory Burns, Steven Davies, Matthew Dunn, Ben Foakes, Aneesh Kapil...

    ***Official*** English Domestic Season 2015

Bates' FC average is 21.20; over seasons 2012-2014 it is 24.35. In his last game for Hampshire 2nd XI he batted at three and made 160. These are the FC batting averages of the players likely to keep in most FC matches this summer: Derby: Tom Poynton 21.38 Durham: Phil Mustard 30.51 Essex...

How can we possibly have 18 counties, and no professional contract for Michael Bates?

    Crap Fielding thread

Struck or pulled out the ground completely by the hand holding the ball, yes. Or you put a bail back on and knock it off again.

    Non-striker backing up

    Mankad him then.

1st Semi Final - New Zealand v South Africa (24th March)

Dire. This is a word that needs to return to CW vernacular.

1st Semi Final - New Zealand v South Africa (24th March)

This may be stating the bleeding obvious, but I get the feeling that this is going to be won by the blokes with the clearest heads. So far we've had four overs of the kind of panic stations I'm only used to seeing when a fresh crop of Under-10s take the field for the first time every May.

1st Semi Final - New Zealand v South Africa (24th March)

It looked like the Ronchi drop was down to the ball angling down the leg side, leading to the keeper getting half a step leg side; it's not about reaction times, but the delay built in by having to counter this leg side movement and push back to the off; like a deflected free kick, you know...

    33rd Match - England v Bangladesh (9th March)

If Ballance plays I am supporting Bangladesh

    30th Match - Ireland v ZImbabwe (7th March 2015)

I hope that everyone getting wound up about Sean Williams' dismissal is just as cross about the way that Gary Wilson was caught off what was indisputably a no-ball from Williams?

    30th Match - Ireland v ZImbabwe (7th March 2015)

Assuming Pakistan don't do the impossible and beat SA, I don't think this one's actually likely to prove remotely relevant to Ireland's progression. It's still all going to come down to Pakistan.

    *Official* Tennis Thread

...and there we go. Seriously, what's happened to US men's tennis if their best player is a bloke who's only known to the hoi polloi for a big serve and an epic Wimbledon game?

Haven't watched Davis Cup since GB lost to Ecuador (Nicolas Lapentti springs to mind). Curiously engrossing, but someone's bound to crack soon.

***Official*** England in West Indies 2015

Not sure to be excited about the prospect of proper cricket or dejected about the likelihood of dull-as-ditchwater cricket-by-numbers from England and a charade of a parody from the West Indies B team, none of whom have any interest in being out there.

    27th Match - Bangladesh v Scotland

This is making me furious. A pair of morons in the comm box insisting Machan should be out hit ball twice for defending his stumps.

Potential interview with Dr. Steve Stern - Duckworth/Lewis/Stern

Didn't actually know it was DLS. Interesting, and good to see continuous development. I will probably only give maths geek questions...
