    FTR, from what I have seen of shaw, he hits the balls with a good punch and certainly there is some promise there. However, his game isn't very tight and hopefully he will improve over time.

    Are you listening to what I am saying? Indian ODI team isn't your nearby gully team where every one has a right to play all the time. If he is good enough, he will get a decent run and make it count.

    Maybe they thought Dhawan could still play a last wc and do us good. Dhawan is after all a proven odi player.

    Not every one gets chances all the time. Case in point: Arjun Tendulkar, Unmukt Chand. You have to impress and then you get the chances. I don't hate Shaw. As I said, it would be nice if he succeeds for India.
