Just read that article, not very happy to say the least.

    Gough slams England's selection favouritism

IT doesn't really matter that England have not won thus far or that India have outplayed them. Simple fact is that with any team, the team selections are important in attaining the best possible results. As said previously, and I think these setiments hold true for a lot of posters on here...

    English Wicketkeepers

Other problem is that people want the whole package. For England, the problem is that they are trying to find an Aussie keeper and Australia are trying to find an English all-rounder. No one is satisfied with the keeper who bats at no. 7 and averages >30.

Looking at the England card, it doesn't matter where you bat for your county. Prior - not 100% sure, but he probably started off as a no. 7 considering he is a keeper Bell - quite sure he was a consistent 3/4 for Warks, opening now Patel - played at 4/5 for Notts, playing at 7 for England...

    ***Official England in India***

With Englands lack of (quality) openers, I think either Bopara or Patel will have to go. Who knows what might happen in the next game? Shah needed the runner this innings so he might not play. I recall Bopara batting at 3 in the last England series (may of been Collingwood's last game as captain...

Saw a run out in the 2nd ODI between India and England just today. I think they said it was Samit Patel who caused it.

England really do have and odd set up. Bopara and Patel were probably the two best List A batsmen last season. Bopara batted at 3 for Essex and Patel at 4 or 5 for Notts. But for some reason, they now but at 7 and 8. Just a waste of talent. I think Bell needs to go and Patel or Bopara be either...

Few = more than one. 2 or 3 = more than 1. I don't like the position Dhoni has got himself in with the bowlers. RP won't be bowled out and he hasn't even tried using Pathan or Sehwag yet.

This isn't backyard cricket. In saying that, they really need to take into account the RRR; its getting close to 7 now. But if they can maintain what they are doing for a little longer, the rest of the batsmen can have a hit.

By certain posters here, he has been one of the best bowlers for the last 18 months in ODIs (statiscally that is). I must admit though, I think I am here with the haters when I say that he has suprised me/us. In saying that, he still isn't a complete bowler, he is still relatively expensive...

Who do you think will replace Ganguly?

Sab but true. Although he was selected for the Pakistan game and the Melbourne test due to 20/20 performances. Maybe the selectors won't make the same mistake twice.

Run outs, just a few questions. a) What makes a run out, 'run out?' b) What makes a run out, 'run out Smith?' c) What makes a run out, 'run out Smith/Jones/Brown?'

Eleven or so overs left. Yuvi has a chance to get a big one. BTW, what would one consider a 'big' century in ODIs? Obviously with the over restraints in ODIs I'd say something above 130 is 'big'.

With the split 'keeper thing Victoria is operating, you'd think that Croswaithe (sp?) is probably due for a 4 day stint. I've seen Wade's scores this season and at the latter end of last and he hasn't been performing all that well with the bat.

Who do you think will replace Ganguly?

Exactly. Who knows? No one really does, but from what they both have done, I think most people would feel comfortable with what they know Raina has done, compared to what Rohit could do. The two years doesn't mean much. Rohit has probably done more than Badrinath at the same age, does that...
