    Steve Tikolo to retire

If they're gonna make Aga captain they may as well name Mishra or Sheikh as vice captain..... Also have to agree Ouma doesnt come accross as captaincy material. Seems to irresponsible as a cricketer for that role.

    Steve Tikolo to retire

A pretty interesting time for Kenyan cricket in general, with Kennedy Otieno and Lameck Onyango not far away from retirement themselves I would assume. They seem to have quite a few talented players coming though the ranks though. Also this will help Kenya out a lot if it all comes through...

Completely off topic, but could you tell me any info on player 'James Clegg'. I accidentally stumbled accross him and found he eligible for Kenya through his mother. Made a handy century for his club in their first game of the season weekend just gone. Not entirely sure what level his club is at...

Possibly. From what I can gather, the Kenyan press are very negative towards cricket. Also, havent really hears anything since the elections. Maybe they were waiting to see how they fared at the qualifiers first.

    Steve Tikolo to retire

Yeah I think the 50 I was referring to was Maurice Odumbe as it was definitely the 96 WC, as I remember them beating the Windies in the same tournament. Everytime I have seen Tikolo on tv though he has been good to watch.
