    Steve Harmison v Brett Lee

Indeed. Even last night on the razz a friend and I were still discussing Hair, Inzi and the ICC plus the ICCCCCCCT coming up (even though it's JAMODIT tbh) and not a mention of the Ashes. Also there are cricket followers from around the globe that weren't really that bothered about the Ashes...

    Flintoff could bowl in India

You shouldn't get so worked up about a meaningless ODI tournament, we aren't and it's our team ffs.

    Reams of c&p.

Is there any need for it? Surely one extract plus a link is sufficiant, it's slightly annoying when whole pages on threads are taken up by cut and paste jobs from various journalists/papers that hardly anyone bothers to read. What do we think?

    Steve Harmison v Brett Lee

This may sound like ******** as I'm a little worse for wear. Well I can't comment too much on his summer if I ain't seen any of it. I follow as much foreign international cricket as I can, mostly by reading threads on here and reading the odd report here too. Tbh it didn't seem like Aus had...

In ODIs. Doesn't do that much with the new red one, unless he's changed completely since I saw him last. Anyway I'm off to the pub.

    Steve Harmison v Brett Lee

Yes Lee has improved, if only he could bowl the way he did in the final knock at Trent Bridge. I realise that it was an extra gear in the circumstances, but what seperates the greats from the also-rans is the ability to perfom great deeds day-to-day as well as pressure time, and I think neither...

    Steve Harmison v Brett Lee

Almost a vote there :) Agree to a certain extent, Harmy is a bugger for making excuses, see his "aye canny pitch let's have more like it though but" speech after Old Trafford against Pak. I don't remember Curtly chewing too much about flat wickets. Still prefer him to Lee but.

    Battle of the Nincompoops

    Sozza, Ponting aye.
  9. Pedro Delgado

    Steve Harmison v Brett Lee

It really should be "who is less dear". Anyway, they both have strengths and weaknesses, neither will go down as greats, but I'd go for Steve as steepling bounce and pace is more of a problem than just pace (in this match-up). That and he's a big daft Geordie who when faced with the prospect of...

    Battle of the Nincompoops

Drunky for me. He's probably a really top fella down the pub, just wish he'd show it more on the field a la Sir Fred.

    Battle of the Australians

Looks like McGrath's older brother in the Cricinfo pic, Reid. Martyn isn't as good as he thinks he is, maltreatment by CA or nay.

    Ball-Tampering Hearing

He has a toe in every cesspool.

ICC appoints Hair for Champions Trophy

The same safety concerns they had about the England team playing in Zimbabwe, understandable really with death threats and all. Oh, hang on...

    We won't be there long.

    # 6 for 1986-2006 World Test XI

Not sure you need two ARs, and with all that batting I'd drop Faulkner or Procter and stick Fanie in there. But then I like Fanie.
  16. Pedro Delgado

    Ball-Tampering Hearing

Good point. And yes I can't imagine Hair suspiciously turning around to closely watch McGrath or Flintoff working on the ball as he did with the Pak bowlers at the Oval.

    Ball-Tampering Hearing

That would make interesting reading C_C if you can be arsed.

Who is a better young all-rounder Watson or Bravo

We should really wait and see how Mr Angry goes on in the Test arena, and not just the Ashes neither, I imagine it'll pretty tough for him making his bow against a decent England side and he might struggle a bit (he might not). Two things are certain, both are better than Ronnie Irani and both...

    I like that music

    Ponting and Buchanan are Losers...

Typical ex-player bs really, makes a change from Thommo though.
