Greatest keeper batsman - Gilchrist or Sangakkara?

No Rahul Dravid was not as his peak in that 2011 series, he was long past his peak by that series any fair Indian fan would tell post 2007/08 - Dravid was longer the "great wall" anymore - just as many members of India big 4 middle-order were in decline. He just summed one last moment of his...

Player wit the most opening partners

Conrad Hunte & Mark Richardson would have had a lot also. Off my head for Hunte would be - Kanhai, J Holt, Cammie Smith, E McMorris, Joey Carew, Seymour Nurse, S Camacho, M Bynoe Richardson - Bell, Horne, Vincent, Papps, Fleming, Spearman, Sinclar Could be missing or adding somebody by mistake.

**Official** Pakistan and England in the UAE 2015/16

Early days & I don't like commenting on tests matches until they are over, but I always thought based on what happened when NZ played PAK in Sharjah last year, that ENG was always going to play 3 spinners in this match when they picked Ansari & went for the out of the box decision to bring in...

Barry Richards still opening in S Africa all-time XI, still illogical for you?

Greatest keeper batsman - Gilchrist or Sangakkara?

No Sanga scored runs in the FTB area vs joke attacks & roads, along with the post current FTB since 2005/06 vs more good pace attacks. Plus the majority of 2005/06 period - Sanga didn't even begin to peak as a batsman yet.

***Official*** South Africa in India 2015

Think Rabada has done enough at this stage to start ahead of Philander, more dangerous bowlers on IND pitches.

    Kagiso Rabada

I'd be sort of shocked and disappointed if he doesn't eclipse Ntini and become SA's greatest ever black cricketer. Yes some cricketers for form/injury reasons like a Cummins, Tahir, Roach, J Pattinson don't live up to their early hype/excitement - but others like a Steyn, Akhtar, Wasim, Waqar...

Greatest keeper batsman - Gilchrist or Sangakkara?

Well while I don't agree with you, respect as moderator/CW staff member for willing to discuss your POV unlike others. I'm not sure what exactly your trying to say by referring to Bradman to be fair. However in the 1930s and actually entire 1900-1939 there was not other good fast bowling...

Greatest keeper batsman - Gilchrist or Sangakkara?

Rahul Dravid scored 3 hundreds in his penultimate series in ENG 2011, was he still at his peak? You & others need to get your facts straight. Akram played 14 series after his 1997 peak - he averaged more than 30 in 6, with almost unheard of career high bowling series averages such a 55 in AUS...

Greatest keeper batsman - Gilchrist or Sangakkara?

I'm saying others hearing who behaving like what I said above Gilchrist, Sangakkara, Stewart is the biggest shocking cricket logic they have ever heard - need to be consistent with their criticism of different cricket views that is admittedly outside the norm. Don't jump down on me only because...

Greatest keeper batsman - Gilchrist or Sangakkara?

No I'm saying those PAK bowlers were not good long before those tours & their struggles as a pace bowling group in AUS 99 & ENG 2001 simply proves it

Greatest keeper batsman - Gilchrist or Sangakkara?

Haha, case in point - when I was called a racist out of nowhere earlier this thread, nobody said anything - the post was liked. Now I threw a little sly remark back you want unleash all the built up anger over someone on the internet you never met  - total bias.
