India's domestic season kinda run from late August/early September till March excluding the IPL which starts on April and ends in May or early June.

Big 3 killing cricket stone dead

Other than the general election that comes usually every 5 years, April-May is kinda the ideal time since the kids (school age) can watch 5 straight hours of cricket (about the length of an IPL match) considering it would be vacation time.

It's Tough Being Me - The Kevin Pietersen Story

Considering the division KP is playing at and that English middle order is seemingly fine, couldn't they have avoided making a call now or is Strauss' appointment made it necessary to clarify now?

It's Tough Being Me - The Kevin Pietersen Story

I don't think the rump England team sans Pieterson has much credit in the bank to warrant any protection from the alleged and apparent negative consequence of Pieterson's presence in the dressing room as opposed to the apparent talent the latter would bring in if selected (though I guess him...

It's Tough Being Me - The Kevin Pietersen Story

Even more funny when people claims that people think it's simple to deflect the obtuseness of the ECB's handling of the whole saga.

Guptill double ton mauls Indies as Kiwis move to semis

Nope. The only way it would work is saying his one score beaten all but one of Rohit's but in that case there would be no reason to point only double centurions in that post.

4th Quarter Final - New Zealand v West Indies (21st March)

Quite interesting that New Zealand have climbed up from 9th ranked ODI team in late 2012 to being the favorites atm. Since 2019 format gives even greater importance to rankings (only England + Best 7 automatically qualifies) and the 8 auto-qualifiers are decided by 2017, it does disadvantage...

    3rd Quarter Final - Australia v Pakistan (20th March)

Any allrounder coming up the domestic ranks for Pakistan? Especially a pacer one since they got M Hafeez covered for spin type. Also, the team needs a strike rotating type accumulator that could get in faster than Misbah usually could.
