Virender SehWAAAAAAHHHHHHg - upset at how he was dropped

I would have loved to see Sehwag in the middle order but considering he was having huge troubles with his eyesight I really don't think it would have worked out. Was a champion player and loved every minute of watching him.

    Indian Cricket Dhaba

I think it is more an indictment of our lack of power hitters. I wouldn't grudge Yuvraj his chance. Let him have a go in Australia and if it does work out I would love having him in the team. An ATG LOI player.

Mohammed Amir cleared to return with immediate effect

And Wasim and Waqar had their names listed in the Qayyum report too. It was hard enough getting over Azhar and Jadeja but having all your heroes tarred like this must be hard.

    Is Stuart Broad that good?

Broad since I can't stand Anderson

Mohammed Amir cleared to return with immediate effect

The haste with which they are rushing Amir back in to the team is unbecoming of the PCB. They should have first worked out stuff with the current players who will need to play with a convicted match fixer and then tried to ease him back in.

Cricket stuff that doesn't deserve its own thread

Wow! AB De scored 14 off 20 in the 434 match!!! Who would have thought that

    Is Stuart Broad that good?

I am still traumatized by what he did to India in that tour of 2011. Especially that test match where India had a lead and Yuvraj and Dravid were batting and then Broad happened.

Dale Steyn among the top three pacers of all time, says Waqar Younis

From the players I have seen I would rate Steyn as second only to Mcgrath.

    Sehwag retires

Was such a great player to watch. Still recall his crazy 60 ball century against NZ in Sri Lanka. We did not have Sachin in the team and had to score at a crazy rate to qualify for the finals or something like that. Was just murderous that day! Also his bowling against SA in that champions...

    Chris Cairns' Perjury Trial

How come no action has been taken against McCullum fornot reporting the approach for three years? I understand they wouldn't want to ban him for a year which is the minimum punishment for that but atleast a slap in the wrist was warranted.

    Chris Cairns' Perjury Trial

I think it is naïve to assume that they only fixed ICL matches.

    Zaheer Khan announces international retirement

Seriously great bowler. Still remember his knuckle ball to bowl Strauss in that tie and Hussey in the quarters. WAFG :)

What would your stats be if you actually played international cricket?

How I wish I had gotten to play with some international cricketers when they were at school. Would have loved to see how much better they were than people I considered to be great at that level.

Shane Watson or Muhammad Hafeez? All formats

Agree that Flintoff as a bowler was much better than Watson but comparing their batting stats is just not fair. Watson batted in the top order most often and Flintoff came in at number 7 or so. Surely Watson's batting numbers count for a bit more. People seem to forget that for some time Watson...

***Official*** India in Sri Lanka 2015

So surely Stuart Broad cannot find a place in India's best XI now  Jokes apart, well bowled Ishant. Considering his age if he can keep this up for a few more years he can end up with a very good career.

Mathews coming in any later than 4 is a crime. He is proving to be such a gun player!

***Official*** India in Sri Lanka 2015

Just weird that you leave the team at 1-1 in both the series.

Poll 7: Playing selector: Last selection for AT Subcontinental XI

I am going for Chandra. Three first class pacers. Two great spinners and 6 brilliant batsmen. Bring on your best ROW!

Poll2: Playing Selector: Opening Bowlers for Subcontinental AT XI

Gone for Imran and Wasim here. Maybe have Waqar as the third pacer.
