    6th June - Group A - England v New Zealand

Yes, generally adjusted targets favour the team batting second. Where the main benefit is it is a lot easier to bat in such a way to remain ahead of the D/L target if you think rain's going to wipe things out at any moment. Basically if you keep wickets in hand you're in a great position. For...

Yes. Big toss to win and be able to bowl first.

    5th June - Group A - Australia v Bangladesh

It is 20 overs. As I've said many times before, there should be a margin built in for D/L. It's a nonsense when a team wins or loses by 1 run when a game is rained off at 20 overs. And it's a nonsense when a team (like Australia now) is so far ahead of the D/L target but gets a N/R. I can't be...

    5th June - Group A - Australia v Bangladesh

Anyone managed to find a reason why Bangladesh would want to bat first? Maybe the bowlers wanted a lie in or something?

Group A - Australia, Bangladesh, England, New Zealand

Absolute joke that Finn has been selected yet again, but no less than expected. Despite figures that look decent against South Africa A, he got pummelled up front and all bar 1 of the wickets was a lower order/tailender. Plenty more deserving candidates, I have no idea why they keep going back...

    3rd June - Group B - Sri Lanka v South Africa

It always surprises me that Parnell has respectable stats, because he's always bowled absolute dross whenever I've seen him play.

Are England really favourites for CT17?

England famously ****ed up their two home finals. Bangladesh and Kenya were obviously not going to win their home tournament. To suggest it's not a home advantage based on that list versus the entirely history of ODI cricket and common sense, as well as the last two ODI World Cups being won by...

Are England really favourites for CT17?

Home advantage is quite clearly backed up by evidence. If the tournament was in India then India would be favourites. If it was in Australia then Australia would be favourites. As it is in England then England are favourites.

Are England really favourites for CT17?

Yea I heard India won a Test away from the subcontinent once as well, doesn't mean they're favourites next time they tour.

Jesus Christ just noticed how much facial hair India's squad has: India Squad | ICC Champions Trophy, 2017 | Cricket Squads | ESPN Cricinfo

Are England really favourites for CT17?

Err no. South Africa have a long tradition of choking and were just comfortably beaten by England. India are away from home. So no. New Zealand are past their peak and are New Zealand. Great at losing semi finals.

    2nd June - Group A - Australia v New Zealand

It is generally good in that one more win will definitely put them through now. There is no longer an eminently possible scenario where Bangladesh get beaten 3 times with England, Australia and New Zealand rock paper scissors each other and one of the trio goes out on NRR (NZ & Australia would...

That was only a matter of time, Henriques @ 4? Hmmm. And they're off. FFS.

    Google Cricket Game

If you can get 150-200 you can get pretty much anything. It does get quicker 50-100. But you seem to hit maximum difficulty at 100 or so. Basically err on the side of clicking too early. As you have to be miles off to miss it. As you get better you can go a bit later to try and hit 4s/6s.

The hardest bit is the pause before they move back and bowl. Didn't notice it getting harder after the upshift between 50-100 or so.

Got 100odd first time and 120 3rd go. You can hit offside if you hit it later.

Sounds like terrible at batting. Leach getting some nice flight/drift on the Bailey dismissal which partly explains why he left middle and off wide open.
