*Official* Under 19 World Cup 2020

Are you serious? Mocking the fan who is using his 2nd or 3rd language, is trying to praise you and is largely the source of all your future income is fair game and pretty brilliant? It is borderline racist. Supposedly they got it back with interest from the Indian team.

It wasn't mocking Yashasvi's English. It was mocking the english of the average Indian cricket fan who is trying to praise the players he likes. Very poor taste.

Remembering the flashes in the pan

Yup Goa. Was just too hard to get into that Indian middle order.

Remembering the flashes in the pan

Think he was hard done by. IIRC he had some injury troubles and the team just moved on. Scored a couple of centuries against that Pakistan attack and deserved a bit more of a chance.

Was going to post Vijay Bharadwaj. He was the MOTS in that series and seemed like a decent spin bowling all rounder and then he was never seen again.

    Indian Cricket Dhaba

The real son of Dravid scores a double century in some u-14 tournament. Would be interesting if he plays for India. The first player whose father's debut I would have also seen. https://indianexpress.com/article/sports/cricket/rahul-dravid-son-samit-dravid-200-double-ton-6177028/

Best losing performance you have seen?

Kind of hard to blame Mongia despite his daft shot to get out. His partnership with Sachin was the only reason we were still in the game.

    *Official* Bangladesh in India 2019

Have always had a soft corner for Ishant and I still remember THAT thread here before the 2011 England tour about Ishant vs Broad. I voted Ishant . He has not had the career I hoped he would have after seeing him against Australia but what a turnaround it has been. Not his fault he kept...

I don't want to see Dhawan in the WC. He is just not made for T20s.

    Indian Cricket Dhaba

Tough to see Prithvi Shaw getting a look in after this series. No one to blame but himself :(

*Official* South Africa in India, Sep/Oct 2019

Does Prithvi Shaw come back into the team now that his ban is over? Think he might be in for a long wait.

Smith v Kohli (test match batting)

Smith is really operating in a different plane right now. Really interested in seeing if this is a golden period like what Ponting had in the early 2000s and he returns to the pack or if we are watching history unfold. I kind of like having a myth-like Bradman who terrorized bowlers long long...

Who are the top 5 Indian cricketers ever?

Missed out on "almost"!! What a difference one word makes :)

Who are the top 5 Indian cricketers ever?

Having watched most of these innings ball by ball I beg to differ. They were pretty remarkable especially the first test against England . He added 57 for the last wicket with Umesh Yadav and Umesh's contribution was 1 run. He single handedly took India to a victory in conditions that were...

5th Test at The Oval, London

Will Wade keep his place in the team?

Who are the top 5 Indian cricketers ever?

Think Ashwin is our Anderson. Seriously him not getting in to the Indian team now is so harsh.

Who are the top 5 Indian cricketers ever?

I will say Dravid is still ahead of Kohli but it is just ignorant to say he doesn't have any great knocks. He was pretty epic in England. His 149 and 51 in first were great and almost got us a win. He was brilliant in the test we won too. 103 and 97 in...

A West Indian calling an Indian pacer a force of nature. Now I have seen it all. :)
