Ntini was the 2nd highest wicket taker for the previous decade. Was a legend. As for the test: should clear later in the day. Cape Town : 4 seasons in a day.

Warne - Warne captained Australia to 2 WC's undefeated. - Fairly Successful Test captain since 2004. - Good individual stats since assuming captaincy - Wasn't banned for drug usuage - Unlike Tiger Woods is faithful to his wife. Wait Wut...this isn't alternate reality Earth lol at Warne being...

Inb4 KingKallis Guy wins Test matches and saves em.Remember that Boxing day Bore in '97? He frustrated Warne and associates. Kallis batting slightly > Dravid Kallis bowling > Dravid ODI's: Kallis all day everyday. 20 M.0.M awards in 131 Tests and 7 M.O.S awards. He contributes more in Test...

Can A be 'greater' than B and B 'greater' than C but C 'greater' than A?

I c what you did there Be greatfull we had the privilege to c so many greats. Does anybody think that ESPN or 9 or Sky should bring out a BR titled: 'The Greatest of the Greats: Greatest HITs' That would be great. How bout this great equation: Bradman > [{Hammond = Sobers} > the rest]

Can a bowler who averages 30+ be considered as greats ?

pointless arguement.will not happen.| some people have low standards, therefore they will name any Tom ,Dick or Harry great. I blame commentators(well the crap ones at least) from the 90s onwards. Great shot great ball great catch great save etc. And now with 20/20 things have gotten worse. I...

The best minnow basher of this decade

Lulz at people just throwing names out without checking the facts. My vote goes to SRT , test batting 6hundreds in 14 tests vs Zim and Bang ,1474 runs @ 92 Murali for test bowlers These two 'flippin murder'(c wat I did there) minnows Zim and Bang.

Can a bowler who averages 30+ be considered as greats ?

NO If you call Harbhajan and Lee Great bowlers then you cannot call Murali and Marshall great. You would have to find another word to describe Murali and Marshall. Great is a word that get's thrown about too frequently as Sir Garfield Sobers said.

    Let's talk cover drives

True. Think Bridgetown 99 Test.He absolutely crashed the last ball of that test. But he could also time it and thread it through the covers with precision and beauty. He could hit it hard AND place it through the gap consistently. Not many players can do that. Lara was by no means a 'hit it hard...

    Let's talk cover drives

thanks for missing the point of the thread, good job. @bagapath Wally Hammond was by all accounts a majestic cover driver. My favourite English player ever.Interesting character. Buried in Kloof KZN South Africa. Bradman * Hammond * Sobers * The rest can form an orderly line.
