Welcome back. TBH I missed you. That thread went completely dead in your absence.

    Question on ban announcements

Nobody was banned in cricsim for hurling racist abuses at me for many years, but I was banned for calling Heath an idiot. Twice. Model libertarian State

    Question on ban announcements

What was the disparaging comment posted by Singh? The un-deleted ones are not any more objectionable than most of the posts in the Indian politics thread.

    Question on ban announcements

Yes, but you didn't raise this point there when it mattered.

*Official* 1st Test at the MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai, 05 - 09 Feb 2021

I don't think so. There was no need to slog or declare. The idea was to take the possibility of loss out of the equation and then watch how the aggressive-minded Indian batsmen bat for 100+ overs when they are told they can't win. Turned out to be exactly how I thought it would.

Imran is the surprising one in that list. Didn't he become a trundler towards the end of his career and played mainly as a batting all-rounder in his last few tests? Or was that ODI-only phenomenon (I recall '92 WC)?

*Official* 1st Test at the MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai, 05 - 09 Feb 2021

I am not a big fan of Root's captaincy, but contrary to conventional wisdom his decisions to not declare in innings 1 and 2 were both correct decisions.

the easiest cricket bets to win

Lesson Number 1: Don't bet on 'easiest bets to win'. Bet on where you think the odds should be lower than they are.

the easiest cricket bets to win

They are not comparable. Siraj is way better. This SL bowling lineup is comparable to Zimbabwe tbh.

the easiest cricket bets to win

Generally in test matches betting against SL win is a better idea than betting for opposition win. They have some talented batsmen who produce gems now and then but their bowling is a pile of **** incapable of taking 20 quality test wickets. More so when Lakmal isn't playing now that Herath has...
