Who is closer in terms of cricketer status, Lara & Tendulkar or Warne & Murali?

I wish I had any idea at all what you’re talking about

Should be adequately strengthened at my age?

Who is closer in terms of cricketer status, Lara & Tendulkar or Warne & Murali?

Baffles me someone could find over the wrist spin “easier” than flicking the ball with your fingers as you roll it over, but ok

Who is closer in terms of cricketer status, Lara & Tendulkar or Warne & Murali?

Point is what I was responding to. Point could also be that people who master more difficult skills at elite level are greater than ones who master less difficult ones.

    Ashwin vs Warne

    So?

Who is closer in terms of cricketer status, Lara & Tendulkar or Warne & Murali?

Everything in elite cricket would be ridiculously difficult. I have enough trouble playing local second or third grade. What’s your point?

Who is closer in terms of cricketer status, Lara & Tendulkar or Warne & Murali?

That’s fine. I was just responding to a comment about mastering respective crafts, and imo bowling leg spin as Warne did is the most difficult craft in cricket.

Who is closer in terms of cricketer status, Lara & Tendulkar or Warne & Murali?

It’s hardly an opinion. Over the wrist spin is significantly more difficult a craft to master than off spin.

Who is closer in terms of cricketer status, Lara & Tendulkar or Warne & Murali?

This makes zero sense to me. Considering leg spin is the hardest craft to master by a significant margin.

    Most overrated cricketer

Jimmy Anderson. He’s good but taking more career wickets than McGrath and Marshall does not mean he’s in their class as a quick, and there’s about 20 others better than him through history.

    Most overrated cricketer

Read his bio. Guy was shunned by the English establishment after the Bodyline series as a scapegoat to maintain relations. Was in his prime.

    The Mankad

Pretty funny this. Last week I got attacked by a few people when I asked how a “mankad” is recorded in a scorebook (which I should’ve just easily looked up myself). Interestingly, I’ve always supported the “mankad” as a legit dismissal. I have no issue with it, there’s a line there, be in it at...

    What’s Steve O’Keefe up to?

    Aus XI india tour?

Fair enough. If that’s the case, I’d rather we pick Murphy as an actual spinning weapon.

    Aus XI india tour?

Our strength is our pace attack + Lyon. Agar looked pretty average this test. Why is it assumed you need two spinners in the subcontinent when it’s obvious our third and fourth pace options (Haze and Boland) are better than any spinner in the country who’s not Lyon? Providing Green is fit as a...

What is your definition of ATG?

Not sure why Waugh is “borderline”. Nor why Kallis is rated below the others. Neither would look ridiculous in a world ATG XI or in their own nations’ ATG XIs.

Predicted Cummins’ captaincy. Could hardly have predicted the circumstances! Well done.
