Yeah, Boult's done. He's already officially retired from T20's, and confirmed in a podcast or an interview recently that he has no intentions of playing for NZ again.

Santner's getting a severe nose bleed at 7. He's kinda in the awkward middle ground where he's a bit too good to be a number 8 and not quite good enough to be a number 7. That and he visibly craps himself every time the ball gets up to chest height. If we were to proceed with this approach, NZ...

Looking at the FTP, I honesty don't see how this can work. SA are off to Australia and England for some T20 jam around the same time as our test series v Zimbabwe is due to wrap up.

Yeah, 280 wickets @ 25 between mid 2012 and late 2021, and that includes an 18-month form dip post 2015 WC. He's played a huge hand in lifting NZ from a dreadful state to being a strong side again. Will always miss him as he was in his heyday.

Smith strikes me as the kind of player who could be handy in T20's in the power play overs, but who will be mostly cannon fodder in ODI's. Still, given the way he's been treated in this recent series he probably deserves a crack.

Also would look a bit weird to give MotM to a guy who picked up 4/70, but O'Rourke totally deserves it.

And yeah, this whole test win feels a little hollow given that England basically stopped trying the moment Stokes was dismissed in the first innings. Yeah, from that point NZ wins no matter what anyway, but would be nice to see England acting like they're paid professionals rather than a club...

Yeah, felt like the two teams were very evenly matched and yet we finished with 3 blow-outs.

Lol in 2 games he's transformed his record from heinous to perfectly respectable for a SENA spinner (especially when you consider his batting). Would probably be averaging sub-30 if he'd been fit at Wankhede.

Well that sounded like fun, can't wait to watch O'Rourke's spell when I get home. The ball by ball commentator on the Grauniad called O'Rourke the best young fast bowler in the world. Re his pace today, I imagine it helps that he knows this is the last true test he's likely to play for 12...

Speaking of slow, old heavyweights who Parker can look good against, I watched the highlights of Dillian Whyte's latest fight and...yeeesh. Time to hang them up Dillian.

So what are we thinking the white ball attack is shaping up to look like for the upcoming SL series and the CT? Obviously Henry, O'Rourke and Ferguson will be the frontliners. Any word on Sears' fitness? And who else is likely to get some game time? Milne? Foulkes? Maybe Fisher?

Maybe aussie of 5 years ago, but I don't reckon he stands a snowflake's chance in hell v Haze and Cummins in the kookaduke era.

Henry straining a little to hard for pace there. Tim won't make that mistake.
