Had we put them straight back in, we could have bowled them out today, and had TWO days off.

Question for English and Australian fans

Maybe I'm getting old (which I am), but I would prefer to see good entertaining, interesting cricket, Australia winning preferably, but I'm not fussed if we lose a match, including Ashes Tests. Couldn't give a stuff about the WTC, or being no1.

Marnus appetite for runs is quite something, also when he gets out it's like dragging him to the dentist to get him off the field. LOL

    I dont like Bazball

The success or failure on "Bazball" will come down to the 2023 Ashes series, as that's REALLY the only series that matters to England. If they win it 3-0 or 3-1 it will be here to stay within reason (you need the right type of players). If they lose the series say 4-0, the critics will be on...

I think one of the issues the Windies have is that Holder seems to be a bit off the pace. I'm not sure what his record is in the past 18 months-2 years is, but he feels to me with bat & ball that he is worn out by the poor support he has had. Just looks at times that he hasn't the fight he once...

That Bangladesh even have a women's team is quite something. I doubt they have great infrastructure, so any playing against higher standard teams can only be good in the long run. Even if just a couple of players get something out of it, it's a win for their development.

In the old days, Lillee would have just gone on and kept bowling, todays players are just too weak, first sign of a strain , they cry and go off.

Some easy runs to inflate his average in a dead situation.

Should have sent the Windies back in, likely to have got 2 or 3 wickets tonight. Get Sunday off.

Yeah, I wasn't having a go at her, but nine players played all 15 matches, and she was one of them. Peterson played 13, Brown 9, Campbell 6 (DNB & bowled 2 overs for 28 in her six matches) & Allen 2 (DNB or Bowl in her two matches).

Congrats to the Strikers, only guaranteed their place in the last 4 on the last day of the season. Someone explain to me how some players get a game. Angelina Genford of the Sixers played all 15 matches including the final, batting at No 10, had 3 inns, scoring FOUR runs. She bowled FOUR overs...
