    Your confidence in your island nation is not supported by the available data. Flingland never even played Uruguay, arguably the world's best side of the 1920s, Argentina or Brazil in the first half of the century. And their record against strong continental sides in the 1930s is pretty mixed.

    Since we are talking rugby to football things, VAR needs a more sensible implementation. Every goal and every penalty should be checked. Send-offs too maybe. Also, give teams the option to request reviews. Just for good measure, though that might be a bit too much then.

    Werner had some good domestic campaigns recently and did well in Europe too. Löw has been given a contract extention right before the tournament, he can only sack himself. Which he should.

    If you go back to 10, what is the point? You got 12 full members now. What's that worth if they don't get in? And of course there should be 4 additional qualifying Associates. So... 16. Anything lower just makes no sense at this point.

    I'm not sure if this Brazilian team is the worst ever, but it is definitely the worst I've ever seen on tape or otherwise. The German team pretty much just did what came natural. I switched off at 2-0 cause I knew it was over. That was futbolocaust.
