*Official* Third Test (Headingley, Leeds) 6–10 July

Far out, this guy is an absolute monster. He is undroppable. How terrible is Bairstow as a keeper. Marsh should've been out pouched ages ago.

He showed this form in ODI cricket this year. This clean thru the line hitting. It reminds me of Gilchrist, albeit he is a right handed version of Gilly Gilly was the first true bazball of the modern era.

Why wasn't Marsh included from 1st test. What the hell are the selectors thinking. I mean if someone is in form, it should be obvious. Cam green limp d*** batting is awful in comparison This guy is slogging four, after four after four.

ITs going to be hard to Drop Mitch marsh when green returns. He has a good batting technique, strong levers.

Good levers and he's a strong lad. Well built.

Why is green aus first choice all rounder in english conditions, when it's clear to anyone with eyes Mitch has a confident batting technique, in recent ODI matches, he has been a match winner.

Aus won't win a test for the remainder of the series. They'll need a draw somewhere to retain the ashes. I don't see them winning against the moving ball. The minute the ball moves, predictably all at sea even Smith and Labuschagne If head fails to rescue them it's all over this test. 150-200...

At that pace frequent injuries are common for fast bowlers.

Why wasn't wood included in the first game? Aus look poor here against pace. Wood is world class.

Wood is quicker than Nortje. a few kmh more. Brett Lee, Shoaib, Tait on par with Wood in terms of pace 155kph. Nortje is a better bowler than Wood overall. Nortje is top 5 bowler on planet right now. Lee, Shoaib, Tait were not that great in tests, Tait was poor.

completely agree, and getting done in by Broad, pretty much sums him up - woeful and ultimately disappointing. Problem for australia going forward in Tests- there are no good openers in Domestic cricket.

warner out B broad for 4..theres something u dont see every day :sp_ike: Time for Warner to retire in the summer, hes just bang average for us over the long run. Wood bowling 95mph- hes the fastest bowler on the planet right? Brett Lee probably close to him before, speed wise.

No. He isn't rare. He averaging around 11 with the bat and 45 with the ball this ashes so far. Ideal stats is atleast 25 with the bat and 35 with the ball , the wickets have been very flat and he's thrown his wickets away

    Cam Green

Injured already. Given the depth of all rounders- we have now, he will struggle to retain his test spot long term now. His returns this ashes have been poor. He is not a test no. 6! He is at best a good gully fielder Australia need to consider other all round options to try long term eg Aaron...

Neser has been over looked again , Boland starts in the XI due to being a 'green top' from the photos below Clear green tinge, even if mowed a bit more. That means Boland is an auto selection, as per Aus team management/ Cummins They will probably use Neser in one of the dead rubbers if they...

Yep the issue i have with Todd murphy- hes just going to get whacked out of the attack. why dont aus put Boland And Neser as a 4 pace bowling attack? on a green top better chance of a victory. Murphy will do *** all, i dont rate him at all- going to get slogged on these wickets. Only Lyon is...

Selectors in name only. 100% influence is jointly Stokes and Mccullum - nobody else. this is bazball era. eg Stokes texted Moeen 'Ashes?" and he was subsequently brought out of retirement, suggests those two are indeed the selectors.

    Ben Stokes

    dropped by Smith first though
