    Michael Neser

can maxwell play instead of Murph? All-rounder Glenn Maxwell also enjoyed a strong county performance after four years away, lashing 81 in 67 balls on his Warwickshire debut in a massive win over Kent.

neser batting on fire. he must play the 4th test.

*Official* Fourth Test (Old Trafford, Manchester) 19-23 July

Likely the only change will be Tongue for the injured Robinson. Everyone else stays. Anderson test career is mostly over with so many faster and younger than him now and more all round in ability. Even Woakes was pretty sharp clocking at 135kph, plus being extremely handy with the bat. Really...

Also a big weakness in the spinner, no Nathan Lyon.

    Scott boland

Cricket is indeed a great leveller of a game. Boland was hyped up, yet treated with disdain by eng bazball batters this series. IMHO he will be used on pitches back home, no more overseas tours for Boland.

Aus test ranking in the future?

Currently ranked #1 IT is possible, we wont even be in the top #4 in the future, fast forward 5 years time. Consider- Nathan lyon is 35. Smith is 34, and Khawaja is 36, Starc is 33 and old for an 'express' quick. A few wont be playing in 2028. The cupboard is bare in terms of batting prodigies...

*Official* Third Test (Headingley, Leeds) 6–10 July

australia wont find any test batters at 40+. this is because they are not producing any genuine talents at FC level. The team will go very poorly post Khawaja, Lyon and Smith era.

*Official* Fourth Test (Old Trafford, Manchester) 19-23 July

IMHO Aus in big trouble. Eng have all the momentum and they've got better squad depth with the all rounders-, even wood can bat, and wood , tongue great depth in fast bowling. Eng spinner Moeen is also much better than Murphy Warner is simply terrible and out of form, the bad rot starts at #1...

Why are England so much better at producing all rounders than Australia?

The answer is simple. UK has 2.5x the population of Aus, that will increase the chances of finding more talented cricketers eventually, despite being lesser overall temporarily pre 2014, assuming cricket systems are similar After seeing the 3rd test, it's obvious England bench strength and...

wasnt at all conducive to a spinner. Should've played Neser and Hazlewood as a 4 man pace attack. we couldve won.

Renshaw for Murphy? Or Hazlewood? Neser auto in for Boland- goes without saying.

*Official* Third Test (Headingley, Leeds) 6–10 July

Here's Gibbo: "Aust might as well drop Murphy for another batsman for the rest of the series. Apparently Pat doesn't trust him to bowl until it's too late anyway." A bowler for murphy, or another batter? Only batter is Marcus harris and hes dog **, we dont have any good spare batsmen is an...
