Who would have thought coming into this summer that the two people at the top of the player of the series poll would be Travis Head and Scott Boland? Who would have thought that Scott Boland would have even got a test?

    5th Test at Hobart - 14-19 Jan 2022

As someone who is partially colourblind, the pink ball is much harder to pick up on the TV than either the white or red balls. I actually wish they'd gone with either orange or yellow than pink. Also, these days actually watching the tests during the day is easier for me and my schedule so...

I can't believe we've had less than 60 overs. I also don't care, given we'll likely get a completed test. But this could get Root in trouble.

Was just thinking that Green has been very, very good this series. Valuable contributions with both bat and ball. Well worth persisting with.

Surely Paine's career is entirely over now. I thought he was playing today from something someone said earlier. But it's hard to see him getting another game now, even if Carey is ****.

Congratulations Head. Never thought you'd be our most consistent bat this series. And then you get out. Wonderful.

"Most teams". You realise he's only played against India and England Ricky?

Nobody can accuse this test of being boring can they? As Bill Lawry would say, it's all happening!

These two look like they're batting on a different pitch.

    4th Test at Sydney (?) - Jan 5-9 2022

Martyn was out of the side for what, 7 years? And then got dropped after the 2005 Ashes again for no real reason. There's a reason his nickname was "scapegoat". Hodge really should have played more than he did and was dumped unfairly. Was definitely dumped because someone in the setup didn't...
