    2024–25 NZ domestic season

Incredible talent. The best since Williamson came through. Will be a blackcap before he’s 20 (Even if Stead is still in charge)

    2024–25 NZ domestic season

Wow I get that we have 15 guys over in India at the moment but am I the only one who is insanely underwhelmed by the looks of these domestic sides? Lacking some real quality even with a tour going on.

Does anyone have any info on Henry Shipley? He’s deadset only played one game since July last year. Was hoping to see him fit for round one this season

*Official* New Zealand tour of India 2024

No Williamson for the rest of the series

*Official* New Zealand tour of India 2024

Hmmmmm Williamson has a habit of missing test matches while we tour India, England and Australia…

*Official* New Zealand in Sri Lanka

We’ve been a joke of a fielding side for years now but this is definitely the worst day of test cricket I’ve seen from a NZ team. Dropped catches, missed stumpings, no balls costing wickets. Can we just fire this muppet of a coach. He has well and truly run this team into the ground

Southee saving himself for that deceleration batting. 2-3 wickets with Sri Lanka on 500 would see him safe for the England series

Top 10 Batsmen with Debut after 2000

Can’t say I’m an expert in regards to where certain players have scored etc but if Kane is averaging 55 and Kohli is down at 49 now surely he has a few major holes in his resume now also… No doubt Williamson needs to fire in India during our next series. Two tests in Sri Lanka and a proper...

*Official* New Zealand in Sri Lanka

Id say the days of New Zealand having any young, talented batsman opening in first class cricket and wanting to be an opening test bat are over. No money in it. Everyone wants to bat 4-5-6 and bowl some handy spin. The skills you need to do the job properly don’t transfer to the other forms of...

Top 10 Batsmen with Debut after 2000

Yup. His record in England and India is definitely a black mark against him but holding his record in South Africa against him is so stupid and pretty disingenuous. Deadset if he’s likely to retire after the Aussie 26/27 test tour then he would’ve gone 17 years with only a chance to have played...

Top 10 Batsmen with Debut after 2000

New Zealand have played three test matches in South Africa during his whole test career 🤣

Yeah except he’s far to good of a batsman to be playing at 7

Oh definitely. Hence why we need a new coach now. Does anyone think under new management Southee is playing that long, no chance. He would’ve been gone last summer

*Unofficial* New Zealand Black Caps Thread

Stead has selected New Zealand teams on the basis of keeping his cushy well paid job. Don’t rock the boat, keep the senior guys happy, don’t get rid of their mates. That has been obvious for years now. After Sydney 2020 he knew he wouldn’t last 2 minutes pulling a stunt like that again.

It’s happening… Conway and Allen have handed back there national contracts. Conway has been given a casual one, Allen has not.

Tim Seifert has signed a multi year deal with one of the Melbourne 20/20 teams. Would say that’s him done as a NZ player.

    NZ domestic season 2023/24

Missed ND handing out their last contract to 17 year old Snehith Reddy

    NZ domestic season 2023/24

Tim Pringle not receiving a contract is umm…. Interesting. Was named ND’s player of the season last year for the Super Smash. Is obviously playing a lot of international cricket for the Dutch. Sounds like he needed surgery during the winter but surely you still pay him in some sort of good faith...

The one guy who should be the first guy chopped from the ODI team, especially after another horrendous World Cup last year is apparently odds on to be our next captain….. Stead is seriously running cricket into the ground in this country
