    He broke down under pretty normal workloads in both Australia and India, no? 40 YO Anderson was playing both those series and didn't break down. Not saying he doesn't try in regards to fitness, but there's clearly been point's where he's not been fit enough for test cricket.

    Pretty much what happend, no? Got dropped after Australia because he wasn't fit enough, then came back fitter, but broke down in india again and did a podcast with his girlfriend about some private stuff in the dressing room without speaking to management. Just seems a bit thick in the head.

    Reckon babar will make a bucket load of runs this series. Played in the domestic list-A comp before this series and from what i saw looks like he's fixed his technical flaws,looked like 2022 babar again.

    Stable for now, but binning off the best young batsmen in the country after he's just made a position his own to accommodate a declining Smith is silly. Smith looked horribly out of touch last summer before he moved to opening yo address that. If he's past his best we shouldn't be ****ing around...
