Group C - West Indies, Afghanistan, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, Uganda

Yeah Steve is on the right track from a fan perspective. NZC are obsessed with T20, to the point our home summer is basically one long T20 series with a couple of very token tests and ODIs shuffled in at the edges. If they're going to do that, for whatever reasons they have, the least a fan...

Group C - West Indies, Afghanistan, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, Uganda

Afghanistan cemented real team status at the ODI World Cup. So this was always on the cards. You can't sleepwalk into a game against a talented side. Gary Stead's selection policy across all formats closely resembles 2023-24 Formula 1 contracts - factors outside performance receive equal...

That was a pretty fun session Gg Liam tho. Tsunoda an obv retention with the performance and Honda backing. Netflix will keep Ricciardo and the South American market compensates for Sergio. Good to see Oscar in the hunt. Not the worst drive from Sargeant today either.

It's nice when we benefit from the other team melting. A complete performance

I rate Ocon but you can't go full French in the French team.

Need to catch the highlights but it's nice things are going well for Armstrong after he had one of the most treacherous cars in F2.

Jamie Whincup too. Bit of a late bloomer but clearly incredibly fast. Lowndes was F2 quick as a youngster and got relegated to #2 by him because he's a winner of races not championships.

Question I've had for a while. I'm surprised Jonny Reid never made F1, Indy or even prototype GT. He was wheel to wheel with Huklkenberg in A1GP and comprehensively beat other past and future (at the time) F1 and Indy drivers. That 2006ish field was absolutely OP. Reid had the talent for a...

It's a real shame he didn't have European campaign money as a teenager. He's F1 quick.

Bad cricketers who played too long

Big Jesse, Greg Hay and probably a couple of others were much better players with stronger cases. Marshall and Flynn got in because reasons. Neither were ever unfairly treated and their final domestic averages reflect that. They were given preferential treatment they never qualified for.

Quite possibly our greatest win ever. Tram sheet was a shambles and then we lost Egan..

Bad cricketers who played too long

He did. When he first played test cricket he just played shots. Not slogging, but very much looked to score until inevitably playing a big drive to a ball he should have left on 30 or 40. He later generally tried too hard to play 'properly' which crushed his actual run scoring. His test career...

Young players who failed to realise their potential

Most of them. A lot of dominant FC players are pretty close to the top level. You usually have a lot going for you already if you are too good at the level below, but some fatal flaw holds them back.

We are very bad atm. Normally I'd be lolling at this silly sport not giving that a penalty try, but I'm distracted by how hard we suck despite having a roster bordering on salary sombrero territory.

Confidence Player - What the hell is that supposed to mean?

I've always taken it as code for a player who gets down on themselves easily but is happy as Larry and extroverted af when in good form.
