***Official New Zealand Domestic Season Thread 2009/10

Nah he's been back playing one day cricket for the last 3 seasons or so. There was a period of a few years or so when he wasn't playing domestic cricket however. Personally I would have had O'Brien opening the bowling EDIT:Flynn out lbw Cumming, lol

^lmao Scott is pretty medium he is more like 125, Boult is around 135km from memory he played on televised matches last year and I guess we'll find out for sure on the televised matches coming up shortly. Be interesting to see how the bowlers fare too the likes of Butler, Diamanti etc

    Gayle has got to go

Reon King & Jermaine Lawson were both considered high quality bowlers when they came onto the scene. Pedro Collins was bowling very good at one stage, Dillon was good at times, Collymore was steady and Best always looked decent. Cuffy & Drakes were probably too far past it to make much of a...

I've had rep players who have faced Boult say to me that he is ****in' tiny but pretty ****in' quick with a really good action too

SA set to dominate world cricket in 4 or 6 years with all rounders

Why replace Amla he's only 26 and isn't he meant to be Smith's successor? Yet you include Kuhn who is about the same age as Amla? Then leave out the likes of M.Morkel, Parnell, Van de Merwe and even someone like Vandiar... Very interesting

He must be bowling really well because you would have thought they would have got a good look at him the other day after he cleaned them up in the Plunket Shield, wouldn't be suprised if he was fast tracked into the national T20 side. Great to see Franklin scoring, plus Merchant and Rhodes seem...

    Predict National Side 2011

Pretty stoked with these predictions over a year later. Maybe could add Williamson to the number 5 list(definately not based on this season though, lol) Like this one too. Broom is guna make it just a matter of when

    Gayle has got to go

This is exactly what I was thinking. Ganga isn't that good enough captain or batsman to displace one of the incumbent batsman. Yes he may be a well regarded captain but all of the top 6 have earnt their place and deserve to keep it. This article really needs a follow up piece - maybe something...

    The Green Thread

Same for me in OD cricket. Maybe a new simmer is just what we need? Lol At the very least he needs to work on his average, i'll give him a good tussle for that number 7 spot anyway haha

    The Green Thread

Excited about the make up of the squad looks very well balanced. Though unlike past seasons our FC team will need to be very consistent to allow us stay in contention - big FC seasons from Scott & Corrin will be pivotal. Cribb and Raftery will also have vital roles to play to give Green a good...

Haha, so true. I get a headache reading all these conclusions people start drawing to. Btw - James McMillan, I remember you saying a couple of seasons ago he had gone way downhill - how did he make his way back into the team?

**Official** Pakistan in New Zealand (3 tests)

The thing that most baffles me about the Pakistan team is why Fawad hasn't been opening from the beginning? He hit a massive 168 in his first Test opening not long ago and hasn't really been given much of another shot there

    trigger movements

 Depends what best counters your negative natural movements. I was being watched by one of our rep batsman and he noticed my back foot going away from the stumps as I prepared to play the ball. So he suggested a trigger movement of across in front of middle then forward. Next game played...
